I mean I know that comes across as a zinger, but I take it as a compliment. The Rockets are a mediocre team. Why should the players feel they get to be here forever and not win anything?
Sorry to see you go Bud, but I'll gladly take this deal. Unless Morey has a real plan to get Howard to stay (DWill, and/or other stars), please don't use all these picks to rent Howard. If you want to rebuild, do it now!
I wonder what happens if the Magic decide they wont trade Dwight and if we have secured 2 top 8 picks. I wonder If we would go after the #2 pick at that point. This is possible right? The Bobcats are looking to deal it, and we would get a projected Elite player. Just a thought.

The concern to me is how players across the league feel about him..what their impressions are of him compared to other GM's. I don't know for sure how they feel about him, but I think Chase's response MIGHT provide some insight into that. Not like it's the first time we've heard this.

And 44th picks rarely get turnt into a 18th pick overall. Either we end up with Dwight, or some young studs to rebuild. I'd say it's a good move overall.
