Does a failed physical automatically void a trade? I wouldn't even care if he failed it now since he still has a good 4 months to heal up.

McGrady in Orlando was a hell of a lot better than Dwight in Orlando.

At least when we had TMac our team was recognized throughout the country and people actually bought our jerseys in different states.

I keep thinking about his injury everyday. Will he return the same? Will it hinder him from taking his game to another level? Can he play at least 70+ games plus post season for the next 7 seasons out of 10?

The more I think about it the more uncomfortable I feel about wanting him.

Right. Just like they tried to stick some other team with the bill all those times Yao was injured.

Dwight has carried the Magic to the finals. McGrady hasn't even gotten past the first round.

Dwight can transform our D into a top 5 defensive team.

I'd take prime t-mac over prime howard and that is saying a mouthful. Some people underrate prime t-mac because all they remember is the guy with 1 knee.

He can't lose in the first round at will like tmac either.
Besides real rockets fans know the history of this organization was built on dominant centers.

I say worse for the simple reason that T-mac wanted to come to Houston . Dwight doesnt , never will ,and probably will bolt to the nets after his rental year is done .

Obviously you either didn't see the Rockets during the McGrady era, especially the end, but let's talk about why the Rockets want Dwight Howard.

If anyone doubts the validity of getting Dwight Howard, even a rental, you really don't care about the Rockets at all.

    it's a mouthful of crap.

I'll take a superstar CENTER who can change the game on the boards and defense over a fragile scorer.

Oh and all of the people sucking tracy's orlando days, tell that to the Orlando fans who've never tasted the NBA finals since Shaq, how they felt when Dwight took them to the finals.

Prime Tmac is beyond overrated. We got him and we got the 40 point drubbing in game 7 against the Mavericks. yeah look up his stats in that game.

I wish we had Kobe instead. You can't question that guy's desire to win and work ethic.

Oh boy. I still think you take the chance. The good years with TMac could have been great years if just a few things went differently.

I agree with you. Tmac was better than Steve Francis. But getting a star center like Dwight is a much bigger deal. It changes things.

If you want to belittle others, you have to come up with better accusations.
Everyone who invest their chunk of time on the Rockets, care about this team.
Dwight is obviously the better player at this point
I am not talking how the things ended here in Houston but how they began.

If it is strictly a rental, then there won't be a dynasty. Period.
You got to have consistency to build a team.
