ESPN: Rockets talking trade-up with Kings, Raptors -- targeting Dwight or Drummond?

The OKC route means a talent like Kevin Durant has to be made available, and we have to be in position to select that Durant-like talent. The OKC route is just as risky as the Dwight rumor is.

Morey's been collecting these assets for the big pay day. Dwight Howard is a bigger pay day than two top 8 picks, especially in the eyes of Les Alexander

 

I would just trade Lowry, 14th for Sacramento's pick. Then trade that Pick, the 16th, Dalembert and Martin for Dwight

 

I'm only on page 14, so forgive me if this has already been said.

I'm surprised that nobody has brought up Stromile Swift as a comparison. That guy had all the physical gifts combined with a low motor. He was the SEC player of the year. At the time I thought he was an exciting draft choice, but in the end we had to pay somebody to haul him away.

And way back when asked for people who took a while to develop, a list was given that included Stockton. I hate to ask but ... John Stockton? I thought this was a discussion on physical gifts and motor. I wasn't really cognizant when Stock was drafted, but I'm willing to guess that he was a high IQ an hustle type of guy and not a twitchy muscle physical specimen. I just can't imagine some GM saying "I see all of that pasty whiteness and can't wait to see how it turns out! If only he can develop a flop, there will be no stopping that guy!"

How upsetting it's going to be when draft day comes and goes and all we did was pick 2 NBA ready guys at 14 and 16.
