I'm surprised, the Raptors have number 8? 7 teams were worse than them last year?
    Wow.

Bingo. I think Morey is being sneaky with this one. I'd be a gambling man and presume he will acquire some picks in the top 10 along with some players on draft night for flexibility leading into F/A.

If the Rockets lose out on Howard, then they will still be left with a young roster. With a KEYWORD --- Talent.

#8 for Lowry? If that's it then you have to pull the trigger every single time.

Deal or no Deal! Say we do it! And see how it pans out when we go head to head with the Raptors this upcoming season. You Know Kyle is going to want pay back!

to me, there's a lot of reasons Sac-town would want Dalembert back. I really think they liked the combo of Cousins/Dalembert. Dalembert is a great backup center and you can actually play both on the court at the same time by moving Cousins to the 4. That gives them more options to exploit matchups. Plus, the price is right as far as Dally's contract (doubt they want to get locked into a multi-year contract). Also Sac fans seem to like Dalembert. Management seems to think they will be a playoff team this year, and Dalembert really improves their defense and front court, which will help put them over the top. Remember size is at a premium, and so is good defense and shot-blocking. Dally averaged almost 2 blocks in just 22 minutes last year.

Only reason I can think of is that they prefer Cousins playing at the 4 rather than him being forced to play the 5. That is all speculation I have no way of knowing that for sure.

Rockets are dealing for two separate top 10 picks.

    My guess for Sac:

    Dally
    14 & 16
    Mav's Pick
    Patterson

    for

    #5
    Hayes

Rockets would likely want Hayes back based on the status of their locker room. Kings probably don't wanna keep paying another 6 mil a year for Chuck. Dally played their Chuck Hayes role last year and they had interest in bringing him back last season.

There is no way we are getting the 5th pick for Dally and 16.

But if Morey falls for what you propose he'd be a serious sucker.

do any of yall think Morey is like that little kid who collect toys and trading cards...and when he get tired of them he wants to trade them off

Last season Lowry was untouchable as was Kevin Martin two years ago

    its just funny to me!!!!

YES! Even if they end up not pulling off Howard I would LOVE to have the 5 and 8 pick.

But, wouldn't Sacramento want a player, like Lowry or Parsons. Dalembert is much too low rent.

The Kings don't need another center. It would probably be more like #14 and #16 + Morris or Patterson. I'd do that in a heartbeat, especially if Morey followed (or preceded) that trade with a Lowry for #8 straight up. We could take Drummond and one of Lamb/Lillard/Ross or Beal and Leonard, or some combination of a center and a PG or SG.

This may end up being one of those scenarios where Sac can pick Drummond for us and the swap is contigent on a player they want still being available at #8.
