This is not a good starting point for any kind of discussion. GZ didn't even know that the hooded figure was black much less a minor.

Your claim is belied by the fact that he told the police dispatcher that he thought TM was black.

Yes, when pressed for an answer and while continuing to observe Martin, GZ made that guess. The iimportant point is that he didn't initiate the observation because someone was black or a minor.

he called 911 because TM didn't look familiar and a resident of the neighborhood right?

But not because we have no neighbors "with a nose like that."

There are many ways to recognize people other than facial detail. Their silhouette, their manner of dress, their gait. GZ saw someone one who was not a normal part of the landscape. He was right about that as TM was making an occasional or maybe even rare visit.

I can tell you when there is a "stranger" walking the streets of my neighborhood even if I can't see their face.

This is not as cut-and-dried against GZ as you want to make it.

And yet, you haven't once been charged with second-degree murder! Kudos!

Change your name to Cometsfold if that's all you have. Neighborhood watch patrols observe and report minor and adults. Stop with the drama already.

Watch the reenactment video. GZ said he was told to stop following TM (when he was in the grassy area) and then he walked to find the street sign. He had to walk past the grassy area to return to his vehicle and that's when he was assaulted by TM.

More dumb **** about skittles and iced tea.... TM should have not been left unsupervised since he had repeatedly gotten in to trouble in such a short period of time. That said, the first thing his Dad should have done when he got home that evening was to check to see if the kid was there.

Only that's not what happened in this case. GZ reported TM because he was acting suspiciously. You can't definitively prove otherwise by anything that was said in the 911 audio tape.

CometsFail, you do realize the Dispatcher told GZ he didn't need to follow TM when GZ was already out of the car?

Now you're speaking to GZ's state of mind and what he thought? Really? I didn't know you had those powers. Good to know.

Then why did he continue to FOLLOW him granny rather than getting back INTO the car? Was his car parked in the grass because that's where the fight took place, where TM supposedly jumped him from behind and beat him senseless.

Well there is security footage showing him buying skittles and iced tea. That establishes his motive for leaving the house, and what he was doing.

Sorry that bothers you so much. There is nothing devious about a teen buying skittles and iced tea.

So even though he'd had trouble at school, he was allowed to go and buy skittles and iced tea. He did that, and didn't do anything to get in trouble. So the decision to let him go buy that wasn't a bad one given that nobody in the Martin household has control over what someone like GZ does.

Of course! All we have to do is listen to what the person who is being accused of murder said happened!! Especially after he's had time to be preped by his lawyer. Granville why you so smart?

Neighborhood watch patrols know the street names of the streets they patrol and don't follow people when told not to. In your absurd scenario, we have to assume that a guy who is the neighborhood watch CAPTAIN who has called the police what thirty forty times in the last year, knows every person who lives in that complex, but doesn't know the damn streets of the neighborhood he patrols? Are you in fact his grandfather?

Then what crime was TM committing? What was suspicious about a kid walking through a neighborhood with skittles and iced tea? If he wasn't racially profiled then what was suspicious? Black kids rarely get racially profiled, that never ever happens, so I'm curious what could it have possibly been. Since you know GZ's state of mind, please enlighten us.

I love the article in the news in the days following the incident. A picture of 9 year old Trayvon.

Lord knows it wouldnt help his cause to show a picture of him today.

The better question is why are you purposely acting stupid? The answer is that you are emotionally invested in this and realize that your side of this debate is not faring well. You through out stupid remarks to distract from the ass kicking your side of the debate is taking.

If his Lawyers prepped him, it looks like they told GZ to stick with the written statement that he gave shortly after the incident. The reenactment was the next day.
