No argument there. He is sucking. I'm not even arguing that we should not have traded him.

The point of my post is that the value having a true all-star (or 2, like when we had both Mac and Yao) has been made more apparent in the light of our recent seasons. You can't argue that we don't suck because we do. Morey struck out with Gasol, Bosh, and to a lesser extent Nene, and we are seeing the results of each of those failures. Hopefully, Morey finally gets a break and lands us a legitimate game changing player.

 

So T-Mac went from top 5 MVP candidate to top 10 MVP candidate to like the 200th best player in the NBA because of black magic?

 

I get your point. Maybe it should be that the Rockets suck because we don't have any all stars. But the Rockets are not contenders cause we don't have any MVP type players.

Morey has a hard job, but he doesn't have forever to turn this thing around.
