Funny how you've ignored all the bets people would like to make with you. You can argue he's not worth it to the ends of the Earth, but you know damn well he will be picked in the lottery.

Oh, AL HORFORD sucked in his freshman year compared to Dummond. Just saying...

So the reason we are withholding Lowry is because we intend to package him with Drummond for Dwight?

Hakeem averaged 8 points 6 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in 18 minutes his first year playing college ball. Although he was still just learning the game, any of his advanced metrics would have been through the roof.

You know what, I am probably going to be dead wrong with my take on Marcus Morris. That doesn't mean I haven't been right in the past with others like Lowry. I'm sure you have been wrong before too, no?

    Al Horford sucked.

    Sheldon Williams dominated.

This ain't a science with advanced stats. :)

    Good thinking.

To take this a step further:

If they make a trade like the following sometime before or on draft night, with the 5th pick going to Houston and 14th+8th going go SAC, and the 18th pick going to Houston:

    http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=8xb7lvg

Then Houston will end up with $18.146 million in 2011-12 cap room, which is just enough to absorb Dwight Howard's $18.09 million salary figure.

If so, then they can take on Dwight Howard's salary without giving any salary back in return (which would generate a $18.09 million trade exception for Orlando).

I'm wrong all the time. I don't go around acting like a know it all who's usually right, as you did on Morris and are now on Drummond.

You're not going to live down Morris cause you took a huge, solid stance, and we're completely wrong.

I'm not sold on Drummond. But think he's worth the risk no doubt. For what it's worth, I still have hope for Morris.

But nonetheless asking people to take you seriously on any sort of scouting analysis at this point, so soon, is kind of ridiculous.

getting two top 10 picks is a win all the way around, regardless of who we have to give up to get it.
this can work out 3 ways, and they all are in the Rockets favor:

    1. we trade for dwight and he signs and extension, we have our franchise player.
    2. we trade for dwight and he leaves after 1 year, atleast we will have a clean slate to start the TRUE rebuilding process.
    3. we dont trade for dwight, keep the two top 10 picks for ourselves...and start the rebuilding process with some young prospects.

My problem with is, moving up for one top 8 pick is going to be difficult enough for Houston so how does Morey intend to trade for two exactly?

Regardless, if the Rockets move up twice and are unsuccessful in convincing Orlando then owning two top 8 picks isn't a bad alternative.

Yeah, to be honest I'd probably prefer keeping two top 8 picks.

Betting proves nothing. I said he's going to be drafted 15 or lower. You tell me where Drummond is going to be picked. We'll see who is closest.

No no no. Let's trade for a guy who opted into an extension he clearly didn't want specifically to avoid being traded to us, cause hey we'll have a lot of cap room when he doesn't resign with us! /sarcasm

    Exactly!!

If you get your hands on two top 8 picks you keep them, unless Howard sign's the extension!!
