I just saw a mock draft that had the Rockets drafting Jared Sullinger. I cannot stomach yet another draft that yields a low risk high reward undersized PF. I'll be physically sick.

If Morey can get Dwight for Drummond he'd better do it! Are you guys insane?!

There's a huge difference between the 5th pick and the 8th pick of this draft, so I would think the price would reflect accordingly.

Glad to hear the Rockets have interest in Andre Drummond... some faith in Rockets ownership and management would be restored in a move like that. Take a chance -- roll the dice on a legit 7-footer with great size and mobility. Sure, you have a lot of development work to do, but there is enormous payoff potential there.

It doesn't work out? Oh well. Better draft picks coming our way. We are not Miami or OKC and I'm not even confident about our future in the West against the likes of the Clippers, T-Wolves, Jazz, Nuggets, Warriors, Kings or even the Hornets... we need a legit piece before we can start talking about building anything really.

My guess is we'll hold out on trading Lowry (to move up) till the last second because we want to package him for Gasol.

My thoughts have been no on trying to draft Drummond. There are players that are safer picks that I have wanted all along. Now I say do it, roll the dice. Drummond has tremendous potential and Hella upside.

As fans isn't this what we wanted in part? Show me you can swing for the fences. If this happens and it works, then great. If not, at least the team took the chance, you'll have no complaints from me.

I'm all for this if Drummond is the target. I'm ready to gamble, I'm ready for change and I'm ready to shed this mediocrity. Do it!!! Stop trying and do it!!!

I could always be wrong, I can't imagine the Kings doing that deal.

It's got to be Drummond, and I'm perfectly OK with that.

    Drummond
    D-Mo
    Goran Dragić

Hello Core, nice to meet you.

    ;)

What if we throw in Fortson? I'm sure that might make the deal more enticing for sure.

    Clutch,

If Morey drafts Drummond for the Rockets, he just punched his ticket out of town. IF that guy becomes a player, it's gonna take 3-4 years! And the odds overwhelmingly favor him being the next Thabust. There's no way Les is going to go for that. No way. And there's no way Morey would take that crazy upside down risk.

It's a misdirection rumor. The Rox are interested in Beal. For Orlando. So they can get Dwight. Beal is the guy that makes the most sense if Dwight leaves town. Florida kid. This fits with the OKC model. Get a great young player, go to the lottery, get another great player (Noels or Zeller), and keep building from there. That's the Orlando model if Dwight is gone. If there is a player they want in this draft (can't get Davis), it's Beal.

C'mon Bima. Back me up here.

Yes, and you can toss Parsons into that group.

I'll add that taking a chance on someone with very high upside, like Drummond, is exactly what a whole bunch of us would like to see the team do. The board would explode!
