With as much trouble TM was in this school year (3 suspensions), he damn sure didn't need to be brawling with the neighborhood watch guy. He should went straight to where his Dad was shacking up.
TM could have 50 suspensions but it matters not if he was wrongfully shot by GZ -- seems like your trying to bring in a bit of racism as well with your comment on his father.
Seems like that's all you got for an argument because men from all races shack up with women. Try again..... My comment supported SSG that he was a punk looking for a fight. TM should have had his ass grounded and not been walking around. His cDad went to sleep with TM not in the house and didn't report him as missing or try to find him. I recall reading that TM was sent there for his Dad to help him get his act together. Do you have kids? What the hell would happen with your kid if he or she was suspended 3 times and it was only February? As parents we have to own up to the behavior problems our kids exhibit.
Where I obtained my degree and what degree I have are none of your business and have nothing to do with this discussion. You do nothing but play stupid semantic games trying to distract from your stupid positions. I'm not playing that game with you.
With as much trouble as Zimmerman has been involved with the police and his domestic violence I'm shocked he would be out accosting teenagers in the middle of the night.
It is truly amazing how many people have already made up their minds. It will be hard to find an impartial jury that will decide this based on ALL the evidence.
What trouble was GZ in with the Police? Up to the point of the incident, the Police had no issue with GZ's work as a Neighborhood Watch Captain. Look, I know you are stuck on the wrong side of this debate but just try a little harder.
Please re-read my responses -- I've been just as supportive of GM as I have of TM -- it's all about the evidence and I feel that i've clearly been one of the most open minded posters in this thread.
Who knows how it will end. The OJ and Casey Anthony trials are proof that juries get it wrong sometimes. The Joe Horn case was bull**** too. He should have been charged because he announced his intention to shoot those 2 burglars. Not sorry they got shot but this ain't the wild west. Go watch that reenactment video and put yourself in GZ's shoes. The Police arrived just seconds after he shot TM. The night before. he had no time to make up an elaborate story and the next day he's out there calmly explaining what happened. Then he passed a lie detector test repeating the same story.
So open minded that you implied that I am a racist because I said his Dad was shacking up (which he was). Answer my question what you do as a parent? I'm interested in that response and not so much how you perceive yourself as a poster.
There are a lot of things I don't like about this situation and the worst thing is that a young man is dead. I believe this should have went to a Grand Jury instead of a special prosecutor. I also think the amount of evidence available to the public for this case is terrible. All this evidence causes too many people to make up their mind before the trial. I think an impartial jury that has not been tainted by the media should view all the evidence and decide GZ's fate. I have tried very hard to not make up my mind on this case but based on what I have seen (which I think is WAY too much), I would vote not guilty for GZ. I hate to say that because there may be some evidence against GZ that has not been presented in the media. I would not hesitate to find him guilty if the evidence shows it.
If you accept that GZ had a right to defend himself...you also have to ask yourself that, when TM realized that GZ was stalking him aggressively, at what point did TM have the right to defend himself against a very real perceived threat.
"stalking him aggressively" is a very subjective characterization GZ wasn't exactly running after TM shooting bullets into the air in fact he called the non-emergency number for help
I am already sure I believe the opposite of what you believe, and I will prove it when evidence is released later on.
Zimmerman is destroying his credibility. The vast majority of what his proponents have based their arguments on are based on fallacies or accepting Zimmerman's word as fact. Bigtexxx, at the end of the day George Zimmerman is looking out for his own interests. He doesn't want to go to jail. His narrative is becoming more and more ludicrous as time passes - why? Because Zimmerman is attempting to deflect accountability from himself. The fact that you are taking his version of events at word value is scary. http://bostonherald.com/news/nation...rmat=&page=1&listingType=natsouth#articleFull He knew every resident in his neighborhood yet he couldn't remember what street he was on. His statements to the police have directly contradicted earlier *documented* statements he made. I think this person sums it up succinctly:
