    Let's go France.

I'll pull for France the rest of the way. I don't like France.

spain with no striker again. Same type of boring ticky-tack football. All France needs to do is sit back and counter cause spain will just pass the ball around with no threat of attacking.

That has got to be one of the worst football related opinions I've read in a while. Boring football? Wow.

Edit: I just saw you post England will beat Germany. Lmao. It makes sense now.

I think France would have to be really lucky to still turn this one around. They also lack the team spirit for that, I think.

Eh...why is Ben Arfa and Samr Nasri not in for France?

France needs them badly for ball control.

    Malouda is playing like crap.

You sure you are not watching the replay of France and Spain when Zidane was playing? Because Spain is in total control of this game so far.

Neither team looks better than Germany.

Ribery best player for France, but I don't see them coming back.

Yes, we were better up to the semifinal there as well. I think it's time for it to end differently this time. I think we are ready.

Nasri and Evra should just be sent home, they remind me of divalicious runway models snorting lines off each other before they start blaming everyone around them for their problems. Just pure emotional baggage when they aren't playing directly for their pro clubs. The team never really had chemistry and an identity since the Zidane era ended, but still it's the French and they invented poetry. Anything is possible.

As far as the lineup, I think starting out defensive against Spain was a good idea. Benzema will be the best striker in the world 2 years from now and Ribery is world class, so the option for a counter was always there. But I'd like to see Martin brought on (more disciplined and efficient than Arfa) to feed Ribery cutting in from the wings or Benzema up the middle. Debuchy and Malouda are strong individual talents but don't increase the opportunities of the players around them.

Spain is the better team, but they've been vulnerable this time around.

    I dont understand.

France is down 0-1 but they are playing like its still the first round and they are up 1-0.

    No sense of urgency whatsoever.

    What a boring game.

Except Ribery. There is something wrong with their team chemistry, it is pretty obvious. Benzema is not trying everything.

Spain doesn't look that impressive to me. Without Xavi and Iniesta, they are nothing. And both don't seem at their best.
