One pick will be dumped, the other will be for an "NBA Ready Asset".

    :p

Hilarious! Yeah, Noah is only 7 feet tall, defends, is 27 years old, and averages a double-double. Why on earth would we want him?

Drummond and pj3 are two big gambles I would take on draft night.Safe bets usually have low ceilings.

How the hell is that a steal for Chicago? One of the better centers in the game for two mid-round picks and a contract filler?

To mid-round first round picks for a legit 7ft defensive presence who is only 27. Yeah, definitely a win for Chicago. How did out last few mid first round picks pan out?

Noah didn't look that good in the playoffs. Sorry.

Well Sooty, if you must know. They did not turn out too well. Not because of where they were picked. It's because of who was picked. For instance, if i would have had my way last season, we would have Marshon instead of Morris and Faried instead of D-Mo. Add Parsons to that.
    See how that works?

Don't be ridiculous. He played three games and Chicago was much better with him on the floor than they were without.

And Portland would have picked MJ back in the day and Durant 20 years later.

I like how you're moving with this, away from the initial point that Noah is more valuable than two mid-round picks, which will probably get you something like pick 9 or 10.... he is easily a top 10 center in the league, a starter... not sure how much more value you would expect to get for a 14th and 16th pick, but apparently it's an awesome deal for Chicago...

Just because i don't think we should go aftyer him does not take away the fact that he is a good center. He is just not worth both picks.

He still gets muscled around a lot in the paint. Not worth both picks.

If Jones is available at 14, TAKE HIM!

Do not pass on Perry Jones! I don't care what the other pick is used for. Parsons at the two (if he really works hard in the off-season) and Jones at the three.

    Trade 16 for 21 and 22,

    Dragic
    White
    Jones
    Patterson
    Free agent

LMAO Noah for 14 and 16 is a good trade. As for the Rudy Gay for Battier trade it was a good trade too, at least Battier contributed to a ring and the Heat wouldn't have won it without him, Gay's claim to fame was being tagged as the NBA's worst defender and then making max money.

Referencing the Battier trade is ridiculous. That trade was made only because we needed people to compliment our 2 superstars already on the team. Do we have that now? No. We wouldn't trade for a role player when he has no one to compliment.

    Actually, his offensive win share per 48 was .6, .3, .8, .5. His defensive win share per 48 was .9, .5, 1.9 and .7.

For a statistic that has a league average of 1, that doesn't scream "better with him on the court" to me.

Sorry those numbers were his playoff numbers the last 4 seasons, which still proves he had a .5/.7 avg this year but still...

The pessimist on this board will claim the worst short of Stern just handing us the 2013 trophy on draft night.
