Found this on Yahoo, and thought you'd like to see it, since I didn't see a thread. Man, I wish he was coaching us instead. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/27sg71i3kXs" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Out coached... Really??? Spo throughtout this playoffs was bailed out by the tremendous play of Lebron...and just enough from Wade and Bosh...Last night was a case of players making shots...and Lebron playing like he has never in such a big moment...and nothing more...if OKC held home court...this series is still going on...other than yesterdays game... the point differential for games 1-4 was 5 points going Miami's way...
I am not in any way discrediting Kevin Durant and the OKC team when I say this, but there is a big reason why those guys are well known throughout the league as good, humble, respectable guys. It all starts at the top and Scott is a classy guy with a good head on his shoulders. I think Kevin Durant is as lucky to have Scott as Scott is to have Kevin. I think Lebron is a perfect example of what happens when your leader/coach is not a true leader (his first few seasons in the NBA). He has battled that his whole career. Look at Jordan and Kobe pre and post Phil. Durant, with Brooks, does not have to grow up all by himself. It is an extremely underrated variable in a player's career
It was 5 points going Miami's way because Scott Brooks was stubborn with his substitutions, made practically no adjustments all series long, and couldn't draw up a decent end-game play to save his life. Spoelstra was better in every single one of those aspects.
He could have done a better job of coaching but if Harden plays like his usual self we would be talking about how exciting game 6 is going to be.
You're seriously pinning this series loss on Scotty when his guys played about as inconsistently as they have all season long?? Harden was more up and down than a roller coaster, and he was a guy that was leaned upon all PLAYOFFS to be the man. If Scott could rely on one single player the way that Spoelstra could count on LeBron, we would still have games to be played in this Finals. Spoelstra did not outcoach Brooks in the way you're making it seem.
Lol I don't understand how that was anything special? I mean what else could he have said? Every coach I've played for says the same things, this included.
It's nice how Brooks defends Westbrook in public, but if he had Nash or Lowry at the point, along with rehabbed Maynor, and a decent center like Dalembert, and slid Westbrook over to the 2...
Brooks for the second straight year was badly out coached in the playoffs. His substitutions were poor, The Thunder were consistently out of position defensively on the screen and roll and in the paint. Brooks never even tried to handle LBJ inside and the twin post killed the Thunder. Brooks may develop into a very good coach, like Doc Rivers did.. But he is lacking in making adjustments.
Brooks made rookie mistakes as a coach... 1) Giving the ball to harden at the PG... stats = OKC wins more when W-brook has the ball and shoots more than KD... even with his Turovers---u can't argue with statistics, it is what it is... and it showed RW with the ball gave them a better chance, it set a faster more agressive game... 2) not playing Collison more, BIG Mistake 3) not making adjustments in game 4 - after 1 qtr. 14 ahead... (you cannot afford to give the space to the heat (regardless of foul trouble) sitting KD and RW.... the season was at stake, they never recovered after heat caught up (they were at HOME) 4) not playing up tempo (miami = one of the best 1/2 court defensive teams) 5)Not mixing Zone defense and man D... (i dont think he watch the Celtics games (he should have)... 6) KD had to guard LJ... it would have challenged him to a play better... (u can argue this ???).... and more... 7)THE SEASON WAS FOR THE HEAT---OFFICIATING SHOWED THAT... BUT COACH SHOULD HAVE COMPLAINED AND TAKE TECHNICALS AND SHOW &^%$*.... IT WOULD HAVE INSPIRED HIS YOUNG PLAYERS... HE SHOWED NO DESIRE TO FIGHT... AND ACCEPTED WHAT WAS HAPPENING... THE TEAM FOLLOWED...
