Truth is Cuban wanted to expose not just Skip but send a very strong message to writers across the nation...know what you are talking about or ur gonna be made a fool on national TV... SAS was just sitting quietly and admiring the trashing from a distance...

It's not even that Skip Bayless doesn't actually know s***...he has people script crap for him. No shock he can't respond when he isn't prepped in advance. He just picks opinions for "shock" appeal. I would bet money he doesn't even watch or care about sports. ESPN is really bad about following into the same "personality > analyst" trap that gives us radio/TV schlock like Rush Limbaugh or Bill O'Reilly.
Finally got the whole episode and saw there was WAAAAAAAY more debate with Cuban than that clip. Skip continued to look like an idiot, but the back and forth between Cuban and Stephen A was actually entertaining since those two were having an actual conversation.
Oh My Goodness, Mark Cuban just took Skip's lunch money away. SaS did the right thing by shutting up. I'd like to see more of this in the future.
lol, some of you guys should watch/listen to the whole thing (podcast here). Stephen A didn't keep quiet. He and Cuban go at it for a whole segment.
I don't really know why people hate Skip Bayless and it is simply because I do not know much about him. What is it that people dislike so much?
Why would ESPN want Skip to stop doing that?!?! His trolling gets them ratings he's the commentator fans love to hate.
The best thing is that Cuban destroyed Skip while wearing an, "I love happy endings" Smurfs t-shirt.:grin:
As obvious as that is i actually haven't thought too much about it until you brought it up. There are a lot of times were Skip and Sas do come to an agreement, thats the point in the show where it dies off :grin: hence why he always argues.
As happy as I am that Cuban came right at Skip and exposed his lack of real knowledge, it's frustrating that nothing will change and Skip likely doesn't care. He's not there to provide deep analysis on the games. He's there to rile people up and he'll just chalk this up as a success.
