I know I sound like the world's biggest pessimist right now, but I just have that feeling like 'Rudy Gay for Shane Battier' is going to happen all over again.

I know Morey is running the show and not CD, but I can't explain it. Just a bad feeling that something like "14 and 16 for Joakim Noah" will happen. *Thanks Sam Smith*

    Call me crazy...but I'm in the '14 and/or 16 and/or Kyle for a Top 6 pick' market.

It seems like Les is always in this 'gotta get an experienced vet' mindset.

    I'd trade 14 and 16 for Noah in a heartbeat. You wouldn't?

Yes. I'm not sure what the problem is there.....

Got news for the OP. We are not a contendor like we were in 06. No reason to make a trade for a Battier type. Not sure why you wouldn't want a young center like Noah though....

    Does noah play Center
    How tall is he?
Do we need another 6'9 combo something

That said . . . I don't see any DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH
    or Vets coming.

If Morey traded Kevin Martin and, say, #16 for Noah, you wouldn't splooge your pants?

Let's relax and see what happens.

If trading the 14th and 16th pick for Noah is a disappointment, then sign me up for some disappointment. Holy hell, that is so lopsided in our favor.

Man if he ever had swapped the 8th pick for Noah I would be dancing in the streets. His problem is if he gets another Battier somehow. I dont know who that is but maybe its Thabo Sefalosha this time from the Thunder. For both our draft picks. Now that is a Morey move.

Bulls fan? That's a lopsided deal favoring the Rockets.

Who at 6 would be better than Joakim Noah? OP you are crazy. I would rather trade picks 14 and 16 for Noah than do a 14 or 16 + Lowry for the #6 pick and draft someone like Drummond.

I bet Morey says that to many of his dates before they go out too.

"Prepare to be underwhelmed. I talk big and do not deliver."

[later that night]She is walking away unsatisfied

    "Man he wasnt kidding"

Yeah, I'm cool with 14 and 16 for some size, effort, and productivity.
