With the Wizards trading for Okafor, maybe they are wanting to trade Nene and draft a younger C/PF ( or a SG like Beal). They still need a wing scorer. (even though the wizard/hornets trade went down, I still did it on the trade machine) Rockets receive: Nene & Gasol Wizards receive: Okafor, K. Martin, Ariza Hornets receive: R. Lewis Lakers receive: Scola, Dalembert, #14 and #16 via Houston http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=867vhjm Then trade Lowry for a Top 10 Pick (Kings, Blazers, Raptors)
For the #2 pick... http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=85cffqd(+#14) For the #6 pick... http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=6rk8j59(+Dallas' future pick) For the #18 or #21 pick... Chase Budinger Is this realistic enough??

then The names have changed a little but the trade is still the basicaly same Martin(his trade value is down now - but RA is the coach) & Budinger ...for... Darko Milicic & Derrick Williams (plus the 18th if possible)
Hearing Houston Rockets have a deal in the works to move Sam Dalembert and possibly the 16th pick about 27 minutes ago Read more: http://hoopshype.com/twitter/media.html#ixzz1yS6QsFbz http://twitter.com/stevekylerNBA
HOU gets #18 MIN gets Kevin Martin AND HOU gets Gerald Henderson #31 CHA gets #18 Chase Budinger FINALLY... HOU gets #8 TOR gets #16 Kyle Lowry So, we end up with: #8 (Dion Waiters) #14 (Arnett Moultrie) #31 (JaMychal Green)
Okay, so nevermind on the Budinger inclusion in the CHA trade. Just read the new post about us picking up Bud's option. Would #18 (from MIN) [or 16] be enough by itself to get Henderson and #31?
I think you called Charlie P and reported this trade if im not mistaken? Next time please roll up your window when you call. and like Charlie said, isnt Henderson just a white Chase Budinger? This is as lateral a move as possible. why would we give up the 18th for the exact same player. Also when a team picks up a player option it is probably more likely to be traded compared to not. this way they can sell it to a team that you have a guy on the cheap for 2 years instead of 1 and done.
Which is which, Bud drove alot under adelman, but shoots more now. Henderson shoots 22% from 3. As a SHOOTING guard, 22% is miserable.
60% of Henderson's FGs were assisted. The same % of assisted baskets as Courtney Lee. The guy does not create that many if his own shots made. He is also miserable efficiency-wise (51% TS%) and does not have many assists. Basically, Henderson is not much more than a replacement level player. He gets minutes only because he played on the 1st or 2nd worst team in NBA history. The guy would not have gotten into the rotation had he been on the Rockets last year, let alone some actual high level teams.
should try a three team deal with us oklahoma, and atl centered around hortford, harden and perkins, with hortford going to okc...harden and perkins to atl and kirk h.and atl. draft pick to us, and we package sam d. to whichever team...
To an earlier poster..Yes, I did call Charlie yesterday. I frequently call his show when my schedule permits. I like Henderson's upside...although yes, his 3 pt shot is horrendous. I was thinking of the trade from the standpoint of "What SG are we going to draft that's better than Henderson?" Giving up a backup 3 for a potential starting 2 was my way of thinking. Anyway...you mentioned Harden in a trade. I still think he's a heck of a player. He just 4 miserable Finals performances. I wouldn't mind Morey kicking the tires and seeing if he can get him here. Also, what about trading for Ibaka? He under contract thru next season.
Trade 14 for 21 and 22 (and future pick?). Kevin Martin + #21 for Joakim Noah. (They can pay Asik and that center overseas who's coming over.) #22 to satisfy Brooklyn obligation. #16 for Royce or Teague.
