For his sake, I hope he goes to a team that needs a really good play maker and where he can start right away...and have some sort of structure/identity with specific needs. The Rockets have so many holes on there team with already two many tweeners and power forwards.

I really like his game. He fits much better with a team, like the Hawks, Magic, Bulls (if they lose Deng and/or Boozer).

I feel like the Rockets won't maximize or suit his talent the most.

He's nowhere near the athlete lj was. Lj was a great athlete, and a great player until his back went out. Lj had handles and explosion. White doesn't have that. He's a po mans lj which makes him a role player

Looks like a team may have promised Royce White. He's pulled out of all remaining workouts and gone silent. Not injured.

More on Royce White. Now hearing more definitely promise is from Celtics at 21.

Better snag him at 16. Unless Rivers is available at 14, then kidnap Rivers and ransom him for White.

It depends who else is available at 16. I would take him in the early 20's.

Larry Johnson? Ron Artest? Come on guys...... I like him and I gave him high praise earlier in this thread but you guys are reaching with those comparisons.

He's like a Corliss Williamson with better handles and ability to create for others. Williamson was drafted 13th overall and had a pretty decent career. I feel like Royce can be better than Williamson but if he ends up with a career like him that would be a success.

That doesn't even make any sense. Why in the world would he sell him self short and settle for 21 or 22?

He was so excited when the Rockets promised to pick him at 14 and 16, that he pulled out.

He is a unique cat. He may as well be satisfied with that and if someone wants to take him earlier, they can. He's a straight shooter in his interviews so this doesn't surprise me at all.
