I am aware of that....however the city of Hou needs excitement more than anything after 14 years with one postseason round win
They would take the rental.... it's disgusting but the truth

Nobody is saying we want Howard though. The OP is reporting news in the dish.

If you're referring to Howard's drama then yeah it's getting old.

I don't think they would after what's happened. Howard faked an injury and screwed the Magic in the playoffs. Now, he is demanding a trade to the Nets by draft night. No team wants to roll the dice on that.

Orlando should have traded him last Summer and tanked. They would have gotten greater value and a year head start on their rebuilding.

They probably didn't want to ask Dwight if he's re-signing and give him any ideas.

It looks like the trade could be Lopez, Brooks and the Rockets 2015 unprotected first round pick IF they can manage to buy a late first round pick this season which is easier said than done.

Not gonna happen with the Nets. Who/what do the nets have to give back in return?

Orlando should push for Stat and Chandler or Gasol and Bynum. Dwight+Hedo for Joe Johnson+Josh Smith.

That's why if the rockets can get enough money to offer brook lopez 10m +, the rockets would either have a good young center or take nj out of the running for howard. Either way its a win/win for the rockets.

Howard is not letting management know where he really wants to go so when they decide to screw him over and trade him to Houston instead of what they thought he wanted (Nets) he'll be happy ;)

Houston is a small pond. In retrospect to NY, LA, Chicago.

I agree. This sage has turned me off to the guy.

I am so sick of these overpaid baby athletes whining when they don't get their way. I wish one billionaire would stick it to them and not comply with any demands. I would sit his ass on the bench. I would destroy the franchise just to make a point.

Selfish isn't the right adjective. Douchebag is more like it. He was idolized by the city he was from. He didn't even have the decency to inform his current team that he would not be returning. No, because if it got out than it would ruin his "MOMENT." So yah, actually he is selfish. He was only concerned with the publicity and the stunt, that he ignored the hard work, passion, and love that so many of his fans and teammates had given him.

Brooklyn has nothing of value to a team like Orlando...
