Trevor Ariza is not important enough to figure into the Wizards considerations when they are choosing their draft pick.
Agreed, but all else being equal (ie, if the wiz rate MKG and Beal the same) team need gives the edge to beal making him the #3 pick.
Steve Kyler: Hearing Damian Lillard crushed in Sacramento, and while they need another guard like a hole in the head, they are strongly considering him Twitter
The guess here is that New Orleans will target the 7-foot Zeller, last season's ACC Player of the Year, to fill the vacancy. New Orleans Times-Picayune
That sounds logical but a front line of Zeller, Davis and Aminu is about as green as it gets. Teams will murder them inside. Clearly they would need to pick up a few veteran bigs. Maybe Kaman would re-sign for a couple of years.
They already are one of the worst. Teams don't need 3pt shooting in their frontline to up their numbers there. The potential defense would make up for it.
they would not care......that is building for the future and assuming the 3 pt shooting will come around
Considering it didn't involve high draft picks, it isn't really that surprising. Especially since both teams already know who they will be selecting (Davis & Beal). This is almost like a post-draft trade.
This could be good and bad. Good: Forces Blazers hand into overpaying for Lowry. #6, #11, filler for Lowry, #14, #16 type deal. Bad: Blazers go a different direction and offer crap-ton of money to Dragic.
According to the OP and other mocks, the Bobcats have settled on Robinson. I'm going with the flow the dominoes are finally falling. 1. Davis, 2. Robinson, 3. Beal. Whoever goes 4th to the Cavs (perhaps MKG or Barnes) will hugely benefit on offense with Kyrie Irving as PG.
