Waiting 2 seconds is annoying, I do it frequently on my phone and I always wish there were some more immediate way to do it. Sometimes I might switch between several apps in a single minute and it can be jarring. I imagine there will be a ROM in the future that will let us double click the button to do multitasking instead of s-voice.

    That's my personal preference.

The One X is just as powerful (if not more powerful) really. Comes down to personal preference. I'm waiting on the GSIII to hit stores so I can decide. I'm a Samsung guy but the GSII Skyrocket feels cheap and I don't like that.

Just got the EVO 4G LTE waiting for Houston to get the LTE service from Sprint though. Hopefully it happens soon. Overall impressed with the performance of the phone. Had the EVO 4G previously

I have the Evo LTE. It's awesome.

I read somewhere that LTE was live in parts of Houston, but I'm not in Houston, so I'm not sure...

The GSM version is not LTE compatible. It is 4G if you consider HSPA+ to be so. You should see an "H" icon on your phone when you're in an area.

Hi. One of my coworkers found a iphone4 and is trying to sell it to me for 100$. It's a Verizon and I was wondering if I would be able to use it?. I've read a little on the internet saying that I can't use it if has been reported stolen. Is there anyway around that?

So what your saying is that the H is actually faster than when it says 3G on it?

Dropped the GS2 Skyrocket for the GS3. Most satisfying phone upgrade I've had since the Blackberry Bold.

Is the S3 really that much better? The S2 is getting the 4.0 upgrade right now -- literally.

I ran 4.0 on the GS2 for about 3 days. It was definitely an improvement and the phone was solid, but it just wasn't as snappy or stable as the GS3. I went from the GS1 to the Infuse to the GS2 to the GS3 in a really short time span and this one is just on another level. I imagine the One X would have payed off in the same way.

Of all the phones I've owned 3 have stood out - A grey flip phone from Verizon in 2003, it had blue and orange dots on the front as it's notification indicator, the first Blackberry Bold, and now the GS3.

I currently have the iPhone 4 and had the 3g before it. I like it ok, but am looking for a bit of a change. I really want 4G LGE. Is anyone able to speak to the pros/cons of the Galaxy S3? How's the battery holding up? Any other Android recommendations? I looked in the Galaxy thread and didn't see a whole lot of answers.

GS3, One X, Nexus, new EVO. Those are the only ones worth considering. Battery life is fine. They're all monsters.
