I didn't think so before but this series has erased all doubt from my mind. He's been bad pretty much all series long.
I'd pay him the max every day. If this series lowers Harden's value, Morey or any other GM should sweep in and trade for him immediately.
He's definitely been neutralized. As much as he is a valuable piece on a championship team, he's not a franchise player.
If Harden is your sixth man, you are a championship contender. If Harden is your best player, you aren't going anywhere.
I give him the max, the ball and everything he wants. Harden will be a top 5 player in the league one day and maybe even the best SG in the league. All the top SGs now are either going to retire soon - Kobe, Allen, Manu, Johnson and Hamilton, or injuries will catch up to them - Wade and Martin. And after Harden and Eric Gordon( who is returning from a long spell out), its a big drop off to the likes of Monta Ellis and Wesley Matthews.
I would like to change my previous answer. It's like he conducted a seance and has been possessed by Luther Head.
Lebron didn't look like a max player in the finals last year. Of course he isn't on Brons level but he will bounce back from this series.
I was thinking the same thing. If people are basing their opinion solely on these finals so far then in their opinion LeBron was worthless after last season. I am not saying yes or no as to if Harden is a max player or not. However, I am saying that basing your facts on one series is absurd.
