Why do I not enjoy watching the heat?

Same thing for me. OKC is more bearable, because Perkins / Ibaka / Sefo play great defense, while Durant and Westbrook provide offense, with Harden coming off the bench.

But Miami? James and Wade. That's it. Bosh is severely underused on the Heat.

I didn't like it when everyone was slobbering over Jordan, and I don't like that the media is slobbering over Lebron now, and Kobe before him.

I'm a Rockets fan and a basketball fan, who just prefers to watch numerous other teams and other players than the Heat. It'd be like to enjoy watching Malone and Stockton winning a championship. Well maybe that's going too far.

I think this applies to maybe 50% of the folks at your average sports game. Superstars sell tickets, they wow crowds, its entertainment etc. Lets face it, thats half the attendance at any toyota center game. And thats great!

But for me personally, I just enjoy watching the sport and playing. Sure superstars up the entertainment, they make it even more interesting.

yeah, the pacers are way more fun to watch. just look at the ball movement. Lebron or Wade taking over and scoring 50? booooring.

It isn't really the media slobbering over him. He's putting in a historic season and playoffs. Everything said in the media is deserved. Same with Jordan, it was deserved.

That's why the San Antonio vs. Detroit / NJ series were the worst rated in NBA history. Boring.

Because Lebron is not a finesse player.

It bores the hell out of me. Are they excellent players? Absolutely, but I like diversity. I like depth.

When I was 12, it made total sense to me to pass the ball to the best player at any point in a game for any reason. But now as a spectator, its become quite possibly the most boring thing to watch.

lol, I still loved those Pistons squads though. I like watching all types of basketball. I was just wondering how you wouldn't enjoy watching a team like miami, but enjoy watching okc. they're basically the same team.

Maybe. The same reason I didn't enjoy watching Shaq play.

I hate Kobe much more than I hate LeBron. But to be honest, I have to say that Kobe's game has a sort of beauty to it. LeBron's doesn't have the same appeal. I am not saying that LeBron is less skillful. In fact, he's overall MORE skillful. It's just that he is the perimeter version of Shaq, a big bully type of player.

It was like that for me for a bit, despite being a big fan of what he is capable of. Also, I think the fact that he has had problems closing out games in the past it took away that "Jordan" or "Durant" effect where no matter what the lead is, the game is not over kind of suspense.

Agreed. I remember in the old rockets days there were a number of clutch players to count on. Wasnt over until it was over.

Because you hate them so intensely the emotional fire might incinerate your soul. Same here.

Although, he has had a totally different demeanor to his game since game 6 in Boston. He is exciting to watch and the suspense of the games are there.

I am not sure if it has to do with what Rondo said. I am not sure if it had to do with Hakeem mentoring him along the way (considering his two coaches are not great mentors). But, Lebron is hungry. I think if Lebron can stay hungry, Durant will have to wait a bit longer before he takes over the league.

Perhaps the fact that they are playing against a bunch of clutch players is why I think this series has been one of the best series I can remember. But, it has been fun watching the Heat vs Thunder.

I really DONT hate lebron like many.

I didnt care for the way he handled his move, but mostly I just dont like the environment Miami PUT him in.. I dont like his level of importance on the "team". Its just too much. I dont like Spoelstra's emphasis. I dont like the citys emphasis.

Even with the Miami fans, they all know without the two, there's not much. That cant feel too good. Or they probably dont care, I dunno.

Yeah... Kobe modeled his game after so many alltime greats, he did so with success....but Kobe's post game can't compare to that of Lebron.....

Bottom line is they win. A win is a win. Doesn't matter how they get there. LeBron can simply make plays.
