WB deserves to be criticized for the foul, but how can anyone not blame Scott Brooks? This is what he's paid for. It's inexcusable that all of the OKC players weren't clearly instructed DON'T FOUL because the shot clock changed from 0.8 to 5.0.

Brooks improved his rotations tonight. Thabo should have played more in the 4th quarter in place of Fisher. Pin the tail on Harden. He should be ashamed of himself for being a disaster on offense 3 out of 4 games.

It's time to panic Thursday and bench Perkins for the rest of the game after he comes out in the 1st quarter.

It would literally take OKC clicking on all cylinders and the Heat disintegrating for OKC to take this series.

I've been saying San Antonio was the best team all season and that Miami had no chance of beating them if they got by Boston. I was relieved when OKC won that because I thought Miami had a better shot.

Off the top of my head, Perkins received the ball 1v1 twice in the low post. Once vs. Wade and once vs. Battier. 0-2. Disturbing indeed.

Miami fans not willing to concede that it's over, they won. They should be happy! Most knows it's over! Hell, the Miami FO is probably planning the parade route. :p Hats and shirts already made too. Gonna be a Thursday night party in Miami.

    Yeah, I agree.

Without any instruction, the clock was at 0.5. I'm sure Westbrook glanced at the clock before the tip, and probably before it was reset.

Any basketball player, without a knowledge of the rules guided by their coach, would assume the clock would be at 0.5 seconds.

Hell, if Mike Breen didn't mention it, the entire audience would be sitting at home waiting for the shot clock violation.

Why would they foul either way? Whether is was 0.8 or 5.0? The players should have known not to foul at all.

Great post. Blaming a loss on one foul or play here or there is just ignoring everything else.

Or for Harden to simply return to his average numbers.

Might the Thunder consider trading Perkins? That may be knee jerk and hell, I don't even know what his contract is like, except he recently signed an extension in the last year or so I believe.

The clock reset to 5 seconds before the jump ball.

No team in NBA history has come back from being down 3-1 to win. This series is over. The Miami Heat are your NBA champions as sickening as that fact is. Thank you James Harden; from hero to goat. And you had to top it off with a break away for a missed lay in. That was just awful.

I didn't want to create a new thread but I was looking at league leaders in these playoffs and Lebron is EVERYWHERE. The thing that impresses me most is his win shares.

Here are the leaders these 2012 playoffs:

    Win Shares
    1. LeBron James-MIA 5.4
    2. Kevin Durant-OKC 3.9
    3. Dwyane Wade-MIA 2.8
    4. Rajon Rondo-BOS 2.6
    5. James Harden-OKC 2.5
    6. Kevin Garnett-BOS 2.3
    7. Russell Westbrook-OKC 2.0
    8. Serge Ibaka-OKC 1.8
    9. Brandon Bass-BOS 1.8
    10. Tim Duncan-SAS 1.8

138% of the second place player. I thought Wade's was pretty interesting considering how he has appeared to play.

    8 FOR 8~
I've called all 4 NBA Finals games AND the Spreads in this thread!

Will update my next prediction tomorrow.

If I do NOT update it that means Miami will win the series in 5 games.

Even if Harden was regular Harden, Miami would still take one of the next three if the other two OKC stars don't perform at high levels.

FYI: 2 of Harden's worst series have come v. the Lakers/Heat. V. Lakers, he had to guard Kobe. V. Heat, he has had to guard Wade/Lebron. Playing defense has really sucked all of his offensive game.
