Uh, you don't think Yao left it all on the floor?

Shane's supporting cast in Houston failed him so he built his own in Miami. Good job, Shane!

It's nice of Battier during his "time" in the finals to recognize Yao. Most Rocket fans can understand what Shane means when he says how good of a chance that team had. While I like Durant, I wouldn't mind seeing the Heat win either cuz of Shane. Good finals!

it was Donaghy (and the league) that robbed us of the opportunity when he screwed the Rockets when we went against the Mavericks in the playoffs. Up 2-0 on the road.. we should have won that series.

    would have
    should have
    those are the wrong words.

the right words are : DIDN'T or DID NOT

we still had a game 7. In the history of the houston rockets, that was pathetic.
that was a reflection on our best players and their leadership.

then we got another game 7 against Utah with HOME COURT, and we lost that one in Houston. would have won a Championship team my ass. then the coach gets fired.

    absolutely NOT CLUTCH CITY.

...or by not getting destroyed by Matt Harper on both ends of the court.

Yao and McGrady were flawed stars and have taken their share of blame for that series, however the play of the rest of the Rockets players in that series was just downright pitiful.

All Battier left on the floor in that series was a sack of suckitude.

Replays don't lie. Mr. Win-right-now-lottery-pick got caught with his pants down.

I think Luther Head who couldn't hit an open three to save his life had a big impact on the outcome. I think he shot something like less than 10% for the entire series.

    Talking about Clutch City.....
How on earth did Duncan have more rings than the Dream? he is not better, think about the wheeling and dealing behind the curtain

the same thing took place when assembling high end role players the past decade......

nice feeble attempt to derail the thread

i doubt you know anything about clutch city. i'll just leave the clutch city discussion with proven posters like Zboy, CaseyH, and Carl Herrera

    you're now twilight, not blade

any real rockets fan would be pissed off about those horrendous losses. and they were and JVG got the axe. those were not characteristics of a championship team, at all.

this is not an attempt of any sort. And keep on mocking others......
Fact is management was good at some point but not great and they failed on several occasions ....

I could not care less with whom you want to have your discussions with.....
just to prove the point with the situation last decade and right now

Grab a rebound Yao. You're 7 6. Boozer is 6 8 with hair, Okur is Turkish. You want to **** on Tracy, better **** on Yao too.

Can't go a la carte on blaming people.

you totally missed the point where someone says they "would have" won a championship and the real part is that they didn't win a game 7, twice in the first round.

a championship team comes together and wins game 7.

all you hear is would have should have, but nobody likes the word 'did not'.
