Something needs to be done before WC 2014, it's a shame that games can be destroyed because some old men sitting at FIFA/UEFA are too stubborn to use modern technology to help the refs.

Hodgson has been an excellent manager for us this tournament. I really like what he's doing.

    We're singing for England!!!!

Definitely was across the line and should have been a goal...though I do believe (and so did the commentators) that there was an offside leading up to it. To be fair though, had Ukraine put away any other of their many many chances, this wouldn't be a discussion.

England is capable of more but they are really just getting lucky it seems. Luckily for them, they're playing an italian team that hasn't played particularly well, either. Should be a horrible game to watch.

Damn. Not sure what's going to get me through the work day tomorrow.

Who's ready for the super rivalry semis of Spain vs Portugal and Germany vs England?

Would be great match ups but I'm not counting out Italy or France just yet.

he's been really unlucky with injuries but this year he showed some good consistency and got some good assists for arsenal. still believe there's lots more to come from him though.

Out of all the games I watched Walcott this past PL season, overall he hasn't been impressive. He had good games and showed his potential, but those are far in between. The kid can run, though, but most of the time that's it.

England vs Italy? Will not watch. Unless of course all of my Liverpool boys are playing: Gerrard, Carrot, Hendo, Johnson, Kelly, and Downing... the real talents.

yep, two teams screwed by refs making the bad call (croatia and ukraine).
I agree they should use technology to plays like that.

The way England's been playing I don't see them beating Italy right now...
That means we'll get revenge for the WC 06 semis loss vs. Italy and then for 08/10 vs. Spain in the final game.
If we lose again vs. Spain my heart will be shattered. :(

I'm worried about my boys Spain. They don't look like they are playing all that well. Not what I would expect them to. One day Torres shows up, the other he's a chicken with his head cut off. Can't run Fabregas up top and have no true striker against France in my opinion.

    Germany looks damn good though.

Welcome to the world of an England supporter post Euro 2004 and WC 2006 vs the Portuguese. On penalties.

Or the world of an England supporter vs Germany just about every time.

Lovely stuff by idiots of the highest order.
So many black Brits among them as well, you know, to show Sol his comments were bang out of order...not quite.

Both referees have been sent home after those disastrous calls. Not that it's going to change anything, sigh

There is no racism is Ukraine. There are some idiots, yeah, but this kind of things are not happening on a regular basis. I know that Sol is not the most smartest player in the world and he didn't know that a lot of african teenagers are coming to Ukraine year in and year out to study here and they don't actually want to leave Ukraine and they are staying here for life

There was a bunch of black french fans in Kyiv yesterday and I asked them about problems with racism in Ukraine. They said that they didn't have any problems, there were no problems despite the fact that they are living in Ukraine from day one

Yesterday I had a funny experience, when I exchanged my ukrainian jersey with swedish fan for theirs jersey and our cops around the city were thinking that I'm a foreign tourist when I was walking through the streets. I didn't say anything to them, cause I didn't want to "blow my cover" =), and I want to say you something: they are extremely careful with foreign fans, they don't actually care about ukrainians but they are doing everything they can to make the life easier for tourists and to take care of them. I was really surprised, I never expected that from our police

Foreign fans and journalists from all over the world are saying that this BBC propaganda was a freaking disaster, not for Ukraine but for fans who missed Euro just because of that media bull ****

When you have great weather, excellent atmosphere, beer for 50c per bottle, a lot of beautiful girls, cheap whores (if you are interested) and cops that are taking care of you in any minute.... it's horrible for you to miss this opportunity.

In two weeks of Euro in Ukraine there were no incidents. No one among international fans was injured or bitten or whatsoever in our hosting cities. That's something even we didn't expect.
