I want those people in Iran to understand that it is ok, even if there aren't any in their country, right? RIGHT? LOL. DD
I am not trying to be disrespectful, just explaining why I believe like I do. Respect, IMO, must be earned. DD
Ok, I can live with that, instead of dealing with the message, attack the messenger. It's cool, if you believe, I certainly don't, and no one is gonna be upset either way. DD
You literally attacked The Messenger. Stop chickening out and just say you don't mind being disrespectful to people, no need to hide it. We accept your opinion. No one is going to try to meet your arbitrary standards for respect, even those who agree with you.
Great. My opinion is that religion is made up - and the cause of more arguments and wars over whom is more right than the other than anything else in history. And right now, the majority of terrorism around the world is done in the name of Islam - and while that is not the core belief, it's mixed message helps those terrorists inspire ignorant folks to commit heinous acts. And I contend the world would be better off if religion did not exist. DD
Glad you agree that Islam is one of the factors in terrorism around the world, that is a big step for you. DD
Since I posted a video about the ugly side of Karachi, it's fitting that I'm now posting a video of another side of the city. Check out this documentary that my high school friend/fellow Houstonian just shot in Karachi about this man. <iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/44181753" width="400" height="300" frameborder="0" webkitAllowFullScreen mozallowfullscreen allowFullScreen></iframe>
In the name of Islam does not mean Islam is to blame. People are totally manipulating others and using religion as a crux. Find me a religion that encourages religion. You can sugarcoat this but you're basically a racist at this point.
Islam is a problem with terrorism, most of the terrorists are using the confusing dogma of Islam to motivate them to do heionous things to the civilized world. I am sorry that the truth bothers you. DD
Lets say Islam is magically eradicated in Pakistan. You think everything would suddenly be honky dory there?
You've got to be kidding. Those people would just find something different to fight over. Land, tribes, cast, etc. etc. etc. Religion just makes it easy for the ignorant to show their ignorance.
Got to start somewhere, religion and particularly Islam is a problem for folks over there. If they minimized the importance it would free them up to make progress elsewhere. DD
Although misinterpretation of religion is a factor in Pakistan's instability with the militant happenings, there is just so much wrong with that country to put the main blame on Islam. Killing others, doing drugs such as heroin, and sectarian tensions (all shown in the videos), are all against basic Islamic principles.
