Neil Brennan, co creator/writer of Chappelle's show, was on the Joe Rogan podcast yesterday, and he answered a lot of questions regarding what happened behind the scenes of the contract negotiations after season 2 and how it all fell apart. Interesting to hear since everyone has only heard Dave's side of story.

I'm probably the comedy lover who doesn't really appreciate Chappelle. I've watched his standups and the Chappelle show. They get some chuckles out of me, but never hearty laughs

 

Wow, you are correct sir.

 

I would be really excited if he came back (Chappelle's Show is one of my all-time favorites), but I'm afraid that if he ever did come back, the expectations for his show would be so high (myself included) that it would be doomed to fail.

 

That would be awesome. His reps are denying it though.

I was lucky enough to get a ticket this morning for his surprise show in Austin tonight. Anyone else going?

 

I will be there too, I could only get a single ticket for myself, 60 bucks for orchestra level!
