One pump fake, and Bosh would go soaring.. Bosh on Durant is foul trouble waiting to happen. Pretty much Bosh will foul out in 5 minutes.
one thing I noticed last night was the refs allowed LeBron to be as physical as he wanted to be against Durant without getting a single whistle. Its really the only way to defend him. Be very physical with him and hope nothing is called. Seriously LeBron was grabbing, pushing, pulling everything and nothing was called I give LeBron props for continuing to do that without worrying about the foul call - after a while Durant didnt seem as "eager" to get open and when he did get the ball seemed a bit more frustrated. of course that is a dangerous strategy if its anyone but LeBron they'd probably be fouled out by half time. But be physical with him and wear him down, probably how Artest was so good on Durant a few years ago (until artest decline and Durant just got better)
Exactly what happened. Durant scored efficiently on Lebron until in the crucial 4th quarter. Durant beat Lebron off the dribble and was blocked by Bosh right at the rim twice. That changed everything afterwards. Conclusion 1) Durant is too tall&fast for Lebron. 2) Ibaka has to play more minutes in 4th to take away Bosh's attention.
The play that got you thinking was one where Bosh was sliding over to help on D. I don't think Bosh could effectively guard KD man on man. No knock on Bosh, KD is the scoring champ against the league's best defenders every night. Even James who is a very good defender, kind of laughed when asked how to guard Durant. Same answer most players always give, "He's a great player/scorer. You just have to try and make it harder for them, and have good help D."
After Durant got that dodgy 4th foul, Westbrook went on a run of terrible plays that basically saved Miami from getting blown out.
those back to back fouls on 3 point shooters by okc thatgave miami 6 free throws is what kept miami from getting blown out
