My black cole haans somehow got a 1 inch white scuff on the back of them, it looks like it is paint but I cant scratch or rub it out. I was looking for a cobbler around houston but the only ones that come up are Houston Shoe Hospital and from the online reviews they seem pretty bad. Anyone have any experience with them or know of any local cobblers that are good?

I've used the Houston Shoe Hospital to re-sole some dress shoes before, and they did a fine job.

I would just take your shoe in there.

Which location do you take your shoes? According to the reviews, your service depends greatly on which location you go to.

RocketMan Tex...repped, I love the small local guys so I'll check him out also and see who is cheaper.

I once needed to repair my shoes for an important meeting the next day, but I had no time. I went to sleep and some elves came in overnight and fixed them for me. When I woke up they were all repaired and ready to go. It was amazing.

Could you just use shoe polish?
