Well at least now you're citing some sources, so some improvement there. But you forgot the link, and more importantly Brook Lopez sucks ass. He was the only healthy Net on the roster the year they became one fo the worst team ever, and then last year he had both Gerald Wallace and Deron Williams and still couldn't make it to the playoffs. He's like Blake Griffin without athleticism, he can't rebound or defend to save his life. I'd rather have a guy like Zeller at 16, someone who seems more mobile and could be a defensive presence than Lopez.
We can. We won't. Unless we trade back for 21 and 22 (Boston) and give Brooklyn 22 to satisfy the obligation.
#hashbrowns Why the insistence on 16 over 14? Do it in a heartbeat but think the Nytes would have a good el-oh-el. Also think we would have to draft a player and complete the trade on July 11th or whatever the date is.
I don't post much, I just enjoy reading quality threads. But, I had to login and say these are 2 of the most r****ded threads I've ever seen made by the OP. It's forgivable if your an 8 year old Rockets fan hoping for the best of the team. But, if you're 17 or above, you should get your thread making privileges taken away immediately. Getting Cousins for our pick 16th was the worst ever thread in the history of CF.
Actually we should be able to squeeze them for a second rounder as well since the odds are they will wind up with a high teens to low 20s pick next season from us. So we should get their 2013 second rounder as well.
Also, we should trade for the Lopez Brothers. We would always have two seven footers on the court at all times. #startplanningtheparade Spoiler
I dont see how the Nets trying to aquire a first round pick has anything to do with them moving Brook Lopez. In an interview at the Combine Avery Johnson alluded to the big Russian using his "assets" to aquire a first round pick. I take that as meaning cash considerations + maybe a future pick. I hardly took it as a mega trade scenario.
Hell no. Lopez is yet another injury-prone center. Dont need one of those to plague another 10 years of Rockets basketball.
