I think Miami should have won game 1. Also, I don't see how anyone could say OKC should have won game 2. They didn't have a lead in the entire game. Not even a 1 point lead. Miami was up 18-2 and should have closed the door on them and put them to bed in the very first quarter but they relaxed.
Jon Barry is a big time Heat hater. He said the Pacers and Celtics would beat the Heat, he looks really dumb out there right now.
Very disappointed in the Thunder, they have let two in a row slip away. They were right there and blew it with silly turnovers and rushed shots. The next game is critical for them. If they lose three in a row, they will likely never get back to OKC. Lot's of drama.
They need to take Durant completely off of Lebron until the 3rd or 4th quarter when he is nowhere close to being in foul trouble.
Durant can't check Lebron, esp. with Lebron just driving to the basket almost every time. They need to put Thabo/Harden on him, and just provide a lot of help. Miami can't make jumpers right now, just help off of the role players and dare them to beat you. And on offense, more screens and off-ball movement, and less isos v. James.
Just like OKC will come out ready in game one, two, three, etc. OKC fans still waiting for this to happen. Why now, why next game? Because they're down 2-1? Doubtful. ... Miami is going to sweep this and end it.
I'm not an OKC fan. But young players don't really have a long memory. OKC's best players are all 23. They'll forget about this game by tomorrow morning, and already thinking about game 4. And OKC started this game well. Miami just got the home cooking. They had a 10 point lead on the road mid-way through the 3rd quarter, shooting 51% with the Heat shooting 36%. Miami's defense just shut them down after that.
I agree. The only thing coming out of Durant holding Lebron is Durant being in foul trouble. If Brooks lets that happen in game 4 he deserves to be fired.
And Brooks benching of WB with KD in foul trouble was stupid. Brooks said after the game he was just "sitting him down for a bit to settle him down and get him right back in." Umm.... WB rested for like 6-7 minutes. You don't coach superstars on a leash. WB played a very controlled game in game 3 and yet he got pulled b/c he made 1-2 mistakes. You serious? If you play the game to avoid mistakes, might as well not play. WB is going to demand a trade soon if he has a leash on him like this. His foul trouble wasn't b/c he was guarding Lebron. He fouled Lebron on the fastbreak (who doesn't) and once on defense. His fouls are just dumb fouls overall. He should just stick on Chalmers/Battier or some scrub and play help D and average 10-11 boards.
Durant cannot guard Lebron. James is just too strong for Durant and KD has to try to slap at the ball which usually results in a foul. It's like a swan trying to guard a bull.
I think it's pretty simple. Against SA they hit their open shots. Against Miami they are not hitting their open shots. It's nothing more or nothing less than that IMO.
What are you talking about? In the first 2 games, they shot 50%+. Tonight, before the 4th, they shot 50%.
no, wade and lebron both scream whenever they drive to the rim, and the refs give them calls for every single love tap.
Just like Dirk, Kobe, Williams, Paul. Thats why they call it "superstar" calls. And LeBron gets constantly hammered when he drives to the basket.
My comment was about the Thunder not being clutch. Are you telling me that they are shooting the same in the 4th in this series as they did against the spurs? They were unconscious against the spurs in clutch time.
