Pssst.....I eat pretty much what my 135 lb brother eats...I can't eat 4 big macs or whatever it is you guys think fat people eat....most damage I can do is a big mac meal plus a 1 dollar spicy mcchicken....and I only do that maybe once a month. I am sorry guys..but I gotta think if you really think I have to eat 2 large pizza's to maintain 300 lbs..your metabolisms must be way different than mine.

It takes a big man to admit he has a weight problem, but it takes a bigger man not to do anything about it.

Its not a matter of will power.

Just order less food, and you have less to eat. If you eat the smaller portion you will still feel full.

You cant possibly eat 1200 calories in a day and be 350 lbs. I eat 1200 calories (more or less). I eat around 1000 - 1500 a day, out of habit.

So this is why I.cant get a 44 oz coke...

Just kidding. Being happy with your weight and who you are is ok. I might just recommend some exercise whether walking or some sport you like. It will help you maintain and exercise I think makes you feel better.

You're not overweight. You're just misunderstood.

.... and here comes the ignorance of diet, weight and health. Not everyone that weighs 300 lbs. eats mass quantities of food. Further, often times it is what you eat, not how much. To the person obsessed with calories, this isn't the 1960's.

Very possible the OP eats too many carbohydrates and/or has a food sensitivity or metabolism disorder.

The OP may pay cash for medical care, but at that weight there is a high likelihood that the day will come where he needs major medical care that will be very expensive.

Don't sweat it OP, if you cannot function, then concentrate on the things that matter to you. Some of those preaching in this thread have their own issues.

No advice here. I've always been underweight all my life and recently started growing a belly. That **** is hard to fix.

    3500 calories a day = overwieght

No matter how you spin it.

Like I said, I eat twice a day, and 90% of the time for lunch its fast food.

The majority of people who are overweight (not specifically saying its the OP) eat 3 meals a day, with snacks all day in between, and drink lots of soda. At 170 calories a piece, 3 sodas a day can add up.

"Soda is the most-discussed beverage that sneaks calories into your day. Soda and fruit-flavored drinks can rack up to 250 calories per 12 ounces. Ginger ale and dark cola are the lowest in calorie at about 120 calories per 12 ounces, and cream soda is the highest with about 200 calories per 12 ounces. Portion size does really say it all! When these sugary liquids are sold in 20 ounce, 48 ounce, 1 liter and 2 liter bottles, it would be easy to work up to 800 calories in drinks a day if you're not being conscious of your choices. (Big) gulp!"

Nobody needs to eat until they are full. You only need to eat enough to maintain the necessary nutrition to maintain a healthy body, which is actually well below 2000 calorie recommendation if you eat the right foods.

For many people its a psychological thing. I can pretty easily go a couple days w/out food. Most people I know get pretty b****y if they miss a meal ... or even if they end up eating later. Hunger is rarely the issue. Its the "feel good" sensation of eating pasta over leafy greens.

When you understand diet and the difference between calories and carbohydrates we will discuss this... Before you begin telling other people what they are doing wrong, you need to know your subject better.

Before i was working out, i was miserable. When i was working out and got way skinny, i was miserable. When i stopped working out, i was miserble. I still lacked personality, working out didnt do much lol.

But the world judges 80% on appearance and age. I have gotten doors closed as a result. Though its about if youre content with appearance and health you have.

Maybe it's just me but I think that most people who advocate a healthy weight are not doing so to keep health-care costs down. Most are just saying that a healthier person is a happier person. It's the politicians that make it a cost thing (however, they do have a point).

No offense, but you really don't know what you're talking about. If you're in good shape, that's great. But it's not b/c of your lifestyle. It's because of your genetics.

So youre telling me if he ate 1200 calories worth of brownies and soda every day, and nothing else, he wouldnt lose weight from his current 320lbs?

If so, then thats awesome. Something tells me he will though.
