Battier has been in video-game three-point mode this entire series.

Time to start accounting for Shane. No more of "Will he keep it up?" stuff.

Wow, the Heat lead despite being just 3-16 outside the paint. Thunder need to do a better job protecting the paint.

It was a "ticky tack" foul but its one the refs almost always call when star players drive hard to the basket.

Durant will get that call as well in the same situation.

Very true. He's got to do it all 4 quarters. Otherwise OKC walks away from them late. However, if LBJ keeps posting up from that midblock position and taking on multiple defenders and forcing the ball to the rim Miami will win.

Thunder is shooting well but they are outrebounded by the Heat. Needa play more Ibaka.

this might make sense, but it is illegal. The defensive 3-second rule prevents the 5 from being the 1 in 2-1-2.

Plus, zones like the 2-1-2 are usually designed to stop an inside game as well as dribble penetration. Miami (and SA before them) don't really have an inside game.

This defense is designed specifically to stop dribble penetration. Not sure what a 2-1-2 has to do with that vs the plethora of man defensive. I agree; they present 3 defenders out front, but the 5 is used much differently than 2-1-2.
