2. I really don't think that there is any home-court advantage in this series because both teams are just soo good at home and on the road. Who ever is the better team will prevail, home court is nothing in this series. I truly think that OKC will win 2 in Miami and win there next at home. They are the better team, they just have to play like it.
Miami is smaller market and a poorer city than houston. Since when has miami been a hot bed for NBA FA? They traded for Shaq, Alonzo, and Tim. They overpaid to get Lamar. Miami cleared a lot of cap space and had a superstar. If we had a superstars people would want to come here.
Superstars are a big part, but if the Cavs and the Heat both had the same amount of cap space the Big 3 goes to Miami.
Yes, but Miami is much brighter. Whoever is bright and rich gets the good players. That year....Chicago got Boozer, NY got Amare and then got Melo, Miami got the big 3, Everyone wants to play in LA, and it goes on. I don't like it like that. That's another reason I cheer for OKC. For those small market teams that just draft-wisely; the OKC's the San Antonio's... I liked the old NBA, where whoever drafts smartest and makes the smartest trades wins...not whoever has the brightest lights and deepest pockets. I hope OKC wins and maybe changes the NBA back to how it was. Maybe it will show the NBA that you can win the way OKC won. Just my 2 cents.
The problem is, Durant was a #2, and Harden was a #4, I believe. Not many teams (and owners) are willing to wait years before contending. Using deeper pockets = more "store-bought" all stars = more fan revenue. It's only logical.
I'm not really answering your question but I think they must take at least 2 out of 3. Miami winning 2 of 3 or all 3, it's over.
I understand that. I'm not blaming Miami. They had to do what they had to do in what the circumstances were because of the NBA changing. I don't like that they did that though, because I believe that is going to result in a chain reaction where we have 4 all-star teams and 26 other crappy teams. I wish Lebron and Wade never thought of playing together...
I disagree. If they can get either game 3 or 4 I think they have a real good shot of taking games 6 and 7 at home.
Ok so if miami wins you will stop watching the nba but if the rockets won it with miami's exact team you would not stop watching the nba. Me calling you a hypocrite was therefore accurate.
Call me crazy, but Thunder sweep the remaining games. Miami can not close this team out, and has let them come back 4 times, twice in one game, from huge deficits. If Westbrook and Durant start playing a slashing 2 man game, the Heat have no chance in beating them. The Thunder will be the NBA's 2011-2012 Champions.
They closed them out in game 2. Who cares if OKC came back. They came back and lost which means Miami closed them out.
Yeah that passage made me laugh to. It's ironic, the Rockets have gotten to the playoffs or even been relevant, since the team last had a superstar.
okc will win games 4, 5 and 6. OKC is too young for wade's aging legs. Without his athleticism, wade is pretty much an injured tmac without the playmaking ability. Lebron can't be the hero every game. Coach spo's offense doesn't really allow for bosh to have big games either. So unless chalmers/battier continue to play well, it's not going to even be close by the time this series wraps up.
lol you aint lying. funny how okc have of the worst intro in the nba, and the heat have the worst announcer in the nba. lol
