It may be hard for you not to root for him, and I respect that, but it is not true for a whole bunch of folks. LeBron has toned it down a bit, but he was a significantly bigger hot dog than others in his age group. I will admit he was a significantly better player also. If the planned dynasty in Miami were well underway, I think we would be seeing a different LeBron.

As far as players creating their own superteam, I don't see how that can be good for a league with parity problems to begin with. I know endorsements can well exceed player salaries. One can also question if the planned dynasty would not be a windfall in endorsements more than making up for working at their current minimum wage.

The NBA and the owners are far from beyond criticism, but they have an interest in maintaining a league which has competitive games. Not to fault these three guys, but their interest is for three guys.

Yeah that surprise loss to the Mavs did a lot of good for LerBon. I doubt he would be this much more mature had he won it last year. Surprisingly, though, that loss turned Wade into a bigger douche.

Yeah the Rockets culture right now is winning through being mediocre fighting for the last spot and missing the playoffs.

That is the way to build a team smh

OK, so if you say right here on cf.net in front of everybody that if the Houston Rockets got James, Wade, and Bosh and won the championship, you would be so mad and furious that you would stop watching the NBA all together.

If that's the case then I'll retract my comment about you being a hypocrite. Give us your answer. The entire bbs is reading.

I can't believe you just said this. Morey is doing everything he possibly can to get a superstar. He'd cut off both off his balls to get James and Bosh in any way, shape, or form he could get them.

Agent:"Hey Morey, Lebron James and Chris Bosh want to team in up Houston with Chris Paul and form a superteam and they are willing to take a 9 million per year salary each so that you can build some great role players around them, are you interested?"

Daryl Morey:"No. No way. The Houston Rockets win through chemistry and hardwork. NOT by building superteams with persuading words and money. This is not the culture of the Houston Rockets. Not Interested"

LOL, you got me there. But I was not referring to our current Rockets. Of course Morey would do that becuase the NBA is evolving into a league where whoever has the most money and the brighest lights is the best; and I hate it. I was reffering to our championship teams.

I see. You have a point about the 1994 championship team. But, in 95 we got Drexler because he wanted to come to Houston to play with his buddy/brother Hakeem. Not an exact comparison of James and Wade because it was a trade and Drexler was near the end of his career, but very close to being similar.

Just gotta say this about Durant.

Sure, he an accurate shooter, but somethin i noticed wit his freakish long arms and legs, Durant is like Manute Bol wit athleticism. Impossible to guard somethin like that. By da time he release his jumpshot, its as high as a sky hook. He can take 2 dribbles from half court and dunk from da top of da key.
Its like ppl like us playin on a 7 foot high hoop.

The thunder is so lucky to have sefalosha do nothing but guard James or wade. Battier has to guard Durant AND make threes for the heat to even compete. so sick. I thought Bron would have an easy time winning but okc has it all. They better win this year bc harden is going to look to get paid. I expect big games out of harden, he'll want to leave on a good note.

Thanks, I was reading off of forums that made it seem like he was going to leave for money.

So, wow, thunder are set for the next couple years.

I don't want or need a retraction from you.

I have already gone on record, on cf.net, in front of everybody, for the entire bbs to read, that I find it impossible to stop watching the Rockets.

Feel free to respond to this post, but I will not be wasting any keystrokes in responding to you.

    Have a good day.

OKC will eventually end up winning the series. They are too deep overall team wise and on the bench for Miami. If the Thunder can start the game off on a better note, then I think they have a chance to steal two games in Miami and seal it up at home.

I think OKC will win, only becuase they showed that they dominate in the second half after how much they were losing by in the first halfs, and they have needed Battier to shoot almost 70% from 3. Man, is that like a record???

    Hey Clyde,

I would like to say I totally agree, but my predictive abilities are xxxx poor. I hope you are right.

This is the second youngest finals team? That may make them better than just OK :)

what was the point of having back to back games in the other series and not having a game today?

So the transition, going from OKC to Miami, would be smoother?
