How did you guys feel about the tonights game 2 officiating? There were a lot of questionable calls tonight... I also felt that the last game tying shot by Kevin Durant was an obvious foul by Lebron right in front of the officials but it was a no call. I mean Lebron basically grabbed his arm but it was a no call. If the refs would have called a foul on Lebron, the outcome of the game would be much different.
OKC got MORE free throws than Miami AGAIN. Think about that. Outside of WB, OKC has been basically shooting jumpshots, and yet they got more FTs than the Heat again. In the 3rd, OKC got in the penalty with 10 minutes left in the freakin' quarter. How does that even happen? OKC is the team that gets the most calls in this league.
this is been debated in the thread about the nba finals: you could start on page 55, to see reactions of that play: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=220902&page=55 why make a different thread?
No team attacks the rim as often or has guys that get to the rim as easily as OKC. They do shoot jumpers but they always get to the rim. They don't have post up player but you're not watching if you don't think they're far more aggressive than Miami or any other team in the league when it comes to getting to the rim and being fouled.
okc has nobody to blame, honestly. they started the game trailing 18-2. you can't rely on a comeback all the time, although they did get close.
Jordan pushed off on Russell, Lebron fouled Durant. Get over it. Bad calls happen. Blame OKC for a poor start. /thread
i can't believe nobody brought up the block foul on battier. Very questionable and would of fouled out Durant. Questionable both ways = consistency by the refs = equality. You cannot expect refs to make the right calls all the time, just to be consistent with the calls they make.
Because it was beaten to death in the series thread, where the discussion is and has been. MamabaJoe, you don't have to literally go through 50+pages. Just go backwards.
At best, they would have tied it with Miami getting the ball back. Miami deserved to win. Stop whining.
Totally rigged. jk. Both team played great. It was exciting to watch. No wonder this year's final is getting such good ratings.
How can you possibly say that? They led wire to wire. OKC never had a lead. Durant was missing free throws. Who's to say he would have made both and if he did, who's to say Miami wouldn't have hit a game winner? Also when Wade lost the ball and Durant hit that amazing 3, Fisher fouled him. That would have sealed the game if that foul is called.
OKC did not even lead for one second that entire game. Think about that for a second. That was a wire-to-wire victory on the road.
