Really? They made more than 5 bone-headed plays in the 4th quarter alone. They allowed OKC to get on the break, get open 3s on the break... which played to OKC's advantages. Once again, Miami played 2 quarters of a game. They were fortunate to win tonight.

the missed foul call by lebron on kd aside, how do supposedly the league's top refs working the world championship round call goaltending on a shot that's already been clearly and visibly blocked? these are the best refs in the world??

It could easily be 2-0 idiot. Thunder played horrible and still almost best Lebron-Wade-Bosh best postseason game.

When Lebron choked last year, u didn't post again till football

Could easily be 2-0 Miami? Uh... it's actually closer to 2-0 OKC.

Get used to it. Most of the time, I ignore the paranoia and the cherry picking. Sometimes, it has to be pointed out. Ask anyone that's been frequenting this board for the past several years- I honestly believe that unless the team he roots for goes through the playoffs undefeated en route to a championship, that they are cursed. If you ask him, I guarantee you that some of the teams he's rooted for have won it all. But that doesn't matter. His teams could win 6 of the next 7 championships, and he would decry the one that got away. Normally, I wouldn't be this vehement about it, but it's been going on for so long and it's just like...."STOP ALREADY!!!"

It's real simple. The talent at the NBA level is ridiculously high. Injuries can happen to anyone. Sometimes, the best team wins it all. Sometimes, the best team AT THE TIME, which could be in a 2-month period, wins it all. Most of the time, you need 2 great players and a solid team to win it all, and usually one is a game-changing great (exception: 2004 Pistons). Star players get calls. Sometimes, role players step up. Some stars aren't great in the clutch.

It's easy to understand the NBA. It's difficult to make a case that your teams are perpetually cursed when, if a different team won the 'Ship every year, your team would only win once every 30 years. Perspective, people, perspective.

they should have instant replay on fouls too, especially in the nba finals, in the last seconds.

That call was correct, yet it was a superstar call? I call BS on that

Th call wasn;t even rea;;y that close. If Shane wouldda kept still, it couldda been a charge, but he CLEARLY shuffled his feet at the last moment. Everyone could see it.

Thank You. Also, from the way these guys talked, especially A_3PO OKC was such a dominant team at home, how could a few bad calls make them lose? I expected them to win by 40 with the way these guys were talking before the game.

Go to bed Rockets Pride. You can bump your crappy thread another day. It's bedtime. :p

The Thunder opened the game very passive and timid and fell behind quickly. They made their run being fearless and aggressive with their constant attacking of the rim. Perkins is the biggest factor for their offense not being as explosive. He ruins the flow and makes the offense awkward and stagnant not to mention he fumbles the ball every single time he touches. Even when he made himself useful and got some offensive he rebounds, he would just ruin it by flipping up a bricked 2 ft. hook shot. Brooks needs to up Ibaka's and Collison's minutes while giving very little to Perkins.

This is all Perkins fault for being a joke on the offensive side of the ball. Dudes a waste of space on that roster against the heat.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

People judging the entire game based on 1 play at the end are like those stubborn people that blame a field goal kicker for "costing" a team a game. They don't focus and missed shots, blown assignments, lack of execution. No, they blame that 1 particular play.

Yeah bro, Miami was up by 15 for the majority of the game and then they started stinking it up there in the 4th. Chalmers made 3 dumb plays and Bosh shooting 3's is never smart. It reminded me of game 1 but at least Miami held on to this one. They could easily be up 2-0.

Will you post this offseason if the Heat lose? Remember last year when you disappeared for months?

The battier/durant play was not a charge, BUT the refs called it a block just so they wouldn't foul out Durant. On the replay you can see Battier slidding and leaning at the last second, but i dont believe you can see that in real time. Refs luckily made the right call.

Really, OKC never led in this entire game and you're telling me they almost won? Miami was up 13 in Game 1. It wasn't even close to being 2-0 OKC. They were down by 15+ the majority of the game and never had a lead.
