I still don't think that was a charge. Battier had established a position, it wasn't close enough so he moved closer while Durant was in the air. That's not a charge to me if you're still moving your feet.
Update on a previous stat: Dan Crawford is reffing tonight. In D-Wade era, Heat are 15-3 (.833) in playoffs when he refs, 48-40 (.545) all others.
Nope, Battier was moving until the last second. Durant had already taken off before battier had established position
Why can't the NBA just get it right? Ref is standing right there with obvious contact. SMFH That's a garbage way to lose.
When the refs miss a call in OKCs favor francis 4 prez: of course they won't call a foul on Durant! he has 5 fouls now so he can basically do what he wants bc they won't foul him out! When the refs miss a call in Miami's favor francis 4 prez: Welp can't feel bad about that, bad calls both ways. Have a little consistency dude. You're a joke.
All I can think of was that egregious "goaltending" call on OKC.... even if you think the rest of the officiating was perfect, what a big 2 points.
I thought OKC was more talented than the Heat before the series, and expect OKC to win in 5 or 6. I'm slowly changing my mind. Still give OKC the edge b/c they're younger, so a grueling series like this might favor them. But, Lebron still hasn't got going (no jumper yet outside of that tough bank shot). Wade still hasn't really gotten going. Bosh is just getting healthier. So the Heat's big 3 haven't gotten going. However, OKC's big 2 are balling out of control. Lebron's actually a pretty good midrange shooter, but that shot has abandoned him the past 3 games. It's going to be a more competitive series than I thought.
I'm seriously laughing at A_3PO. The heat led this game wire to wire and were up 18-2 at one point and the guy has been saying all along that the heat don't have a chance to win in OKC, then there is one questionable call at the end and THAT'S why OKC lost, shm and seriously laughing. Mission Accomplished for Miami. Got a split and now going back home for THREE STRAIGHT. Going to be a long series fellas. This is just one game, and doesn't mean much.
