A chance, of course. But I have a hard time imagining any one team in the NBA right now beating the Thunder 4 times in 5 games.
I've seen far too many teams drop the first two games of a series and then rattle off 4 in a row to think too far into this so soon.
I agree 100%. But, I said the same thing about the Spurs. Hell I said the spurs wouldn't lose a game in the playoffs and sweep their way through the finals after I watched them dismantle OKC in games 1 and 2.
Can't wait for today's game. Should be a good one like Game One. I'm expecting something big out of Wade today..if not the Heat get blown out.
my head tells me this will only go 5 games, but my heart is pulling for 7. I am by no means a Heat fan, but this series is great for the NBA
Good thing Wade is there to play basketball and not on vacation(although some might say he is taking one). It's not really a big deal
You can't really compare the two. Things completely change when the format switches to 2-3-2. If they lose game 2 they will have to win all 3 at home to have a real good shot at winning the series. No team has ever won game 6 and game 7 on the road in the 2-3-2 format and only 2 have won all three at home. They still have a slim chance if they lose game 2 but it will require a historic turn around like 06.
I think this happened in finals only once. And the 2006 Heat had a lot of help from Stern. Wade set a finals record for 16 FT/G, don't count on that.
Exactly, RA has no athleticism and still drops those 3s constantly since 08. You can't avoid a little opening after multiple picks unless you switch everything.
yup the 2-3-2 structure could also play into miami's favor...but i still don't see the heat sweeping at home or making it to game 7 against this team. hope i'm wrong.
Guys, this is The Year of the King. Relax. Let's not overreact to one game, when we all know what is destined to happen.
