We would to match up salaries in an atl trade. Dally would need to go as well (which is fine by me. They can waive it off and save money or keep him for the season.) so it would have to be Dally, Morris, Ppat, picks for Smith. Sign me up for that. We send the 16th pick to Sacramento and the 14th pick to Charlotte. Sacramento gets two veteran players and a pick. Orlando gets a former ROY and the number two pick. Charlotte replaces Tyrus Thomas' hideous contract with a similar type player in Patterson. Plus they get the number 14 and the 5th pick. Tyrus Thomas, though overpaid, is a quality defender. Furthermore, playing next to Dwight Howard might allow him to flourish- although I wouldn't count it. He's the poison pill for taking on Howard, but I think he's well worth it. With Howard on the team, we might just be able to pursue Williams. Further, I think Martin might change his stance on staying in Houston and he would definitely benefit from being the third option. The team would be set defensively with Parsons guarding the tough perimeter guys and Thomas and Howard inside and Camby backing them up. Offensively, we'd have three solid scoring options as well as Motiejuanas coming off the bench.
