Meh, I'm not a big fan of Dizaster. His energy is just way too much for me. I like Iron Solomon a lot more. Canibus was awful, but that, in no way, "tarnishes" his legacy in my eyes.
The stupid thing is how you know Dizaster had that 100% prepared, shame what freestyles have gotten to. Writes lyrics, memorizes them completely and adds flow, changes of speed, etc. Should've produced a beat, too smh.

But thats the point of theses battles. You come prepared. I use to feel like you do, but then I started watching these battles and written rhymes just come off much better than off the top freestyles. These guys, Dizaster for example, do incorporate true freestyles into their battles as well. Think of it like a live diss track. The greastest diss tracks of all time weren't freestyles, but written work. The fact that Canibus, who's had success in the rap game, choked when he had time to prepare, that's just sad. Especially when Canibus is somewhat known for dissing other rappers.
just plain pathetic... besides the fact hes after rebuttalling because he got clowned in diz's rap and canibus got clowned remarkably and just now talkin **** afterwards... hes in a playground, smokin a blunt, under an umbrella in the rain, and holding his own camera... rock bottom...
Dizaster sucks... I could barely even listen to that, and the crowd was horrible... So many white people that want to be black... Be proud to be white, life is gooooood...

I then googled their battle, and I didn't realize how recent this was. 1 of the 1st results was from MTV.com saying Canibus apologized for pulling out his notebook. LOL at the raps gay and rap sucks post. Everyone has different things they listen to. A lot of ppl think the ish yall listen to is "gay" As far is this battle goes...kinda not cool with the rehearsed stuff.
I agree, also the ones that aren't feeling the "non-freestyle" aspect of this, in reality a lot of it is whether it be in rebuttals or filler to set up their next block of bars. Also the fact that pre-meditated rhymes aren't only allowed but encouraged make it even more technical. I'm thinking the people who aren't feeling Dizaster's rhymes, this style of rap, or rap in general aren't appreciating the lyrical aspect of hip hop, in which some of these guys could be considered savants.
That is not at all what I said nitwit... It's the whiteys NOT RAPPING in that video that need to take a BIG STEP BACK. Nearly impossible to watch...
But everyone can write battle lyrics and memorize them. It doesn't prove anything. Even a turd like Drake would look great in a battle this way. Battles have to come off the top of your head and you gotta use the lines your opponent said and twist them, ridicule him with them. Look at the old Freestyle Friday battles with Jin, etc. Jin always directly went at his opponent with his lines, using everything they said. Have to say it again, the crap Disazter did is a shame, it's like Eminem or one of the Bone Thugs doin a battle with one of his songs where he raps really fast. But didn't Canibus prove that theory wrong??? Canibus wasn't just some random mildly successful rapper. Battling was one of his notorious characteristics and he got smoked I think you're under appreciating what they, and especially Diz does. Diz (just as he did quite a few times in the 'Bis battle) incorporates freestyles, flips and rebuttals in every single battle I see him take part of. Hell, he'll even include reactions to the crowd or certain crowd members quite often. He's not the only one either. That's almost what elevates everyone still, despite written raps being the majority, those who can still be sharp and react at the drop of a dime.
