If we don't move in the top 5 there is no need to move up, every player you name after the top 5 i can name a comparable player with equal or greater talent to be drafted in the second round.

Martin for Miller and Webester's expiring contract in July and Minny's pick (from Utah) wouldn't be a bad move. I say we go after Evans with it. We draft who they want with it, and trade Dally and possibly Bud with that draftee.

I wouldn't trade down for multiple 1st-rounders. I either want to move up, or add a 1st-rounder or two to #14 and #16, hoping one or two of those picks turns into a great player.

Neither would I, it's a sensible move though. Hypothetically if you got BOS two picks for either 14 or 16 you have three 1st rounders. Use one of the lates & trade off the second late rounder to the CAVS for their two early second rounders (33,34). Use these two picks to fill out roster.

Now I understand that is a lot of moving, & that is why I really don't like the move however that doesn't make it no sensible. Simply trade the 14 or 16 to the CAVS for their two second rounders, personally I would trade the 14 if Kendall Marshall isn't their to save the extra money for drafting in the lotto.

However if Marshall isn't there at 14 you trade it & at 16 take the best player available. The best draft strategy is to draft best available player not to draft out of need, b/c you sometimes overvalue players. Especially with teams that are mediocre like ourselves, doing our best to cheaply get over the hump. (Not saying we're a cheap team, but the draft is the best way to go about it b/c it is cheap)

haha, for sure. You aren't getting any players close to their talent in the 2nd round.

Barnes will be top 5. I'll pass on Melo till the 2nd round.

First off Barnes is a top five talent, nevertheless I have a comparable player

Barnes - Darius Miller / Jeffery Taylor

Lamb - Jeffery Taylor / Kevin Johnson / Orlando Johnson (high volume scorer/ solid frame & decent iso defender) Kim English (more of a specialist but solid)

Lillard - Jordan Taylor (I'm super high on) / Tony Wroten (who you have on your list most mocks (nbadraft.net has him 2nd round draftexpress at 30) & Scott Machado

Leonard - Klye O'Quinn / Reggie Johnson / Bernard James & maybe Renardo Sidney (his standing reach is 9'2" well above avg for center although he is 6'9"1/2)

Ross - Refer to Lamb & add Hollis Thompson

Rivers - John Jenkins / Doron Lamb / Jared Cunningham

PJII - this one is a little difficult b/c PJIII skill set would be better suited at the 4 but he wants to come in as a three so with that I have this
Kris Joseph / Darius Miller / & his teammate Quincy Miller (poor man's KD & i'm hella high on this guy)

Waiters - refer to Lillard list but definitely Wroten

Melo - Wouldn't even draft this guy but if you must Robert Sacre

Wroten - Jordan Taylor / Scott Machado

White - Wouldn't draft but i would draft Draymond Green

Teague - Who I was high on at first but I watched majority of Kentucky's film & he is overvalued & hyped, I do see a slight FRANCHISE in him but I'd take Maalik Wayns who is older & has had more time at the pg both will be backups during their initial contracts. I do think Teague will be better later but not initially

Moultrie - Who I would definitely draft, super high on this guy but for the sake of the thread here you go: Michael Watt

Now I'm not saying these players all do the exact same thing, or have the exact same skill set, but what I am saying is this draft is deep. & trading up outside of the top 5 is pointless, expensive, & unnecessarily high expectations going into next year when you make a move to get a guy in the top 10.

I'll drop my Draft Board next week. Stay tuned.

Package the 16th along with Lowry to try to get to 10. Choose Lamb.

Package the 14th (and maybe something else) for Boston's 2 picks and grab Teague and Melo.

Fills a lot of holes (especially if Martin is gone at the trade dead line as an expiring). Lamb and Melo have tons of upside. Well Lamb does and Melo has a high ceiling along with a basement floor.

Teague would be a good backup at PG. His size and athletic performance is top notch for a PG.

    Preciate that.

Really want to be a NBA scout, possibly for our Houston Rockets. Time will tell.

I like the first package NO needs a pg (Jack is ok, & so is Vasquez, but Lowry is better than both) however I don't know if pg is high on NOs list right now. I think they might go after Sullinger after taking Davis to solidify their front court along with Ariza.

Second package not so much I'm not really high on either of those players or those picks, it's just sensible to do it only if your selecting specialist players not b/c of upside or potential.

Lamb makes sense though, especially with K-Mart being an expiring contract, however instead of trading up to take lamb I would love to pick up Hollis Thompson in the second round who is a dynamic scorer with the body & skills to be a great defender 6'8 sg!!

Darius Miller is the most underrated player in the draft. I watched him grow for 4 years. He's a great shooter, good rebounder, plays great defense, and is very clutch and composed. And at 6'7" he's long.

Someone will get a steal in the early second round. 5 years from now he has the potential to win 6th man of the year.
