I don't care. The thread and topic is a stupid hypothetical question, and there is a obvious answer.

Of course he won't regret it if they lose. LeBron is a grown ass man who made a well thought out decision. Like LeBron said, he did what is best for him and his family. Whats there to regret? Rings? Media/Fan scrutiny?

"What they think doesnt bother me… Because tomorrow they go back to the real world… They go back to their jobs, their problems… Me? Im gonna live life the way I’ve been living life…. They go back to their jobs and problems…"

It won't be the end of the world if the Heat lose and he won't live with regret.

The only thing he should regret is giving himself the nickname "king James" what a joke....

OK, they won 20 games and they were 2nd worst with the worst being the Vancouver Grizzles in their 2nd season.

they were the 3rd worst. Boston had 15 wins, they wanted Tim Duncan too.

Ask any old Rockets fan, they'll tell you that the Spurs were holding out Robinson so they can get a chance at Duncan.

Seriously the worst part about this is everyone was on this guys nut$ when he was on Cleveland. None of the stuff that people complain about now were a problem back then.
Just because he joined forces (which other players have done) and did the decision (which i understand fans to be mad about) he gets crucified. I understand he chokes but just the validity of fans really has gone out the window.
Hes already answered hes not regretful of anything.

I'm sure he regrets the "decision" (not going to miami but how he kept cle hoping and how announced it) and the "celebration" (not 1, not 2..)

I thought all of that "King James" and "The Chosen One" BS was hype created by Nike to sell more shoes...

I'll be the first to admit that he's not a likeable guy but I have never seen an athlete butcher his image as thoroughly as did Lebron with that "The Decision" fiasco and then with that tasteless pep rally with Wade & Bosh. I keep getting the impression that the NBA is desperate for folks to forgive and forget and to start loving him again as he was supposed to be the next "Jordan" who transended basketball (while making them a whole boatload of money in the process). That's why we keep getting force-fed all of these reminders, video clips, commentary, etc. about GREAT Lebron truly is with a basketball in his hands.

I'm going to be completely honest with all of you for just a minute:

there are few things goofier than putting a tattoo on your back that says "Chosen One."

if you're one of those folks that just can't understand why people don't like Lebron James, look no further than that incredibly douche-tastic decision.

    #not1not2not3notany

I'm a reasonably nice guy and I don't wish ill on anyone...but I have no problem with a guy like Lebron James getting upstaged by a guy like Kevin Durant.

They were favored in every series, with HCA the last couple of years. They may have beaten Boston in '10, tied 2-2 with HCA, but Lebron opted out in Game 5. Had he just shown up at all, maybe CLE wins.

For those who say CLE wouldn't improve the team, didn't they have a deal on the table for Amare? Regardless of why the deal was rejected (I heard they didn't want to lose Hickson, I also heard LBJ didn't want Amare), it shows there were still possibilities for improvement. Of course, they did have the best record in the NBA 2 years in a row, so the idea that management wasn't doing their part in Cleveland really has no merit.

You know, it just occurred to me that Lebron may very well be this generation's Julius Erving. Do you recall all that he went through before finally getting his ring with the Moses Malone & the 4-5-4 76ers?

They'll never win because both the coach and GM are garbage. What would happen is you'll get a repeat of KG in Minny, so honestly I don't think him leaving was a big deal.

I think Lebron regrets choosing Miami over another team like NYC or the Nets, and would definitely not go to South Beach if he could rewind time. He basically bought into Wade's "let's win not 1, not 2, not 3" BS but then when he got there he realized Wade's on the decline and now sucks every other game. Riley put a stop to all of the stuff he usually does like party all night and give his homies jobs, started riding him like a horse so he puts up historical numbers on a nightly basis, then he ends up getting all of the blame if Miami loses.

I mean, take a look at the Finals game 1. Both LBJ and KD canceled each other out in terms of stats, the difference is Bosh and Wade missed most of their shots while the OKC didn't. However a lot of the headlines have stuff like "KD outduels LBJ in game 1", which is factually not true.

Didn't Chicago have the cap room to sign LeBron? That's a scary thought.

Yeah but there's no chance LBJ would gone there because:

    1) He'd always have to live under MJ's shadow
    2) Rose didn't kiss his ass the way the other teams did. You had NYC and JZ dropping him calls night after night, I think Rose just sent him a tweet saying "Come play in chicago bro" or something lol

The topic might be a bit premature but it is far from obvious. To say Lebron hands down won't regret making a move that ruined his image and resulted in him being 0 for 3 in the finals is making an assumption to say the least. i don't know Lebron personally but knowing people I'd be willing to bet that he sits and thinks about whether he would have been better off staying in Cleveland if they lose in the finals for two straights years. Wade appears to be declining and if he can't play at a superstar level anymore with that huge cap number of his they will never win a ring. Lebron came to Miami to win not 1, not 2, not 3 (you know the rest) and not to lose back to back finals with a possibly aging and declining Wade. Stop trying to be a bad ass know it all on the internet about something that is debatable.
