During the playoffs for the Heat, Ronny Turiaf is outrebounding Bosh and Anthony. Only Haslem has a higher rebounding rate. The Heat got beat on the boards last night. I don't know if Battier needs to ever play 42 minutes again.
The problem with playing battier so much is you can't put battier on Perkins or serge so you put lebron on them and put battier on durant whom battier can't guard. They should go with bosh haslem James Dwayne and chalmers and have Lebron on Durant. A lot of the 4th wade was on Durant and Durant can just shoot over him.
Steve Francis was better than Tyreke. Steve gets a lot of hate but he was a 3 time all star (he was an all star before Yao showed up in case people want to credit the chinese vote for it).
If Lebron doesn't start guarding Durant more I'm going to stop watching. That was the whole thing about this series which makes it exciting. Spolestra putting Shane vampire battier on Durant is just boring. And stupid.
Making Lebron run through 100 screens to guard Durant is a bad idea. He'll get tired chasing KD around. Look at what happened in last year's Finals when he tried chasing Terry around from Game 4 to Game 6, he had no gas left. He has already complained about minutes about Game 1
They can't win with Durant scoring at will. They have to put LBJ on him for longer stretches. Definitely should have made the move earlier in the 4th.
I disagree. I think Lebron should go into a Rodman role. Just play defense and rebound all game. Let Wade and Bosh do the scoring, let Lebron get offensive boards and put backs.
Um then he'll be disengaged all game. He tried that in last years FInals. Game 4, 8 points. He was Casper all game
You don't have to score points to impact a game. If he goes into this role then he'll need Wade to step up big time offensively but we haven't seen much from Wade lately..... so who knows. But the way I see it, OKC held home court after being down by 13 points. Nothing surprising here. It's going to be a long series. 6 or 7 games.

Game 1 had the highest rating ever on ABC. So I guess it dispels the whole notion of people not wanting to watch a small market team. The old Spurs teams just weren't very watchable.
After the jump shooting party Wade had in game 1? Not a good idea. Would love to see a LerBon vs Durant on defense, but I think since Durant is guarding LerBon, why not do the same thing and make Durant go through screens? Plus he's got the size to push Durant around and get him into foul trouble. Exhaust him on defense. In the end, Spoelstra has got to do a better job managing the team and come up with better strategies. Although I'm no complaining as long as OKC is winning.
