Miami's energy just dropped off in the second half. It's like they came out with a high and just could not sustain it.

OKC is the better team and they should win this series. Miami's got no answer for Westbrook and Durant is Durant. The beard man hasn't even showed up yet.

Don't blame Lebron. This one is not on him.

The reason OKC won was their good defense in the 2nd half. But I also thought that the Heat's offense was a lot better in the 1st half in terms of moving the ball and getting open shots.
Dwyane Wade continues to struggle on the offensive end in terms of scoring. Adding to that, Bosh needs to stop settling for jumpshots. All he does is shooting jumpshots.

I think the Heat relied to much on James and Wade in the 2nd half, hoping that either one or both of them would explode. While James gave them his usual 30 points, Wade didn't deliver.
The only positive aspect about this game for Miami is that the Thunder are not going to shoot 52% every game.

Oh, and one thing I don't understand is why James didn't defend Durant for mch of the game. Battier and Wade tried their best, but Durant is too good for them. Durant struggles a bit with James' physicality which is something the Heat need to exploit.

    Your second-half score: Durant+Westbrook 41, Miami Heat 40.

MIA had never been outscored by at least 20 pts on fastbreaks in a game which their Big 3 played. Until tonight (24-4).

Lebron can go Cleveland Mode all he wants it will not win him this series. OKC is a much different animal than the 3 teams they faced in the East.

No clue why they won't get Bosh involved.

I still think the heat will will the series. Lebron is still the best player on the court.

Lebron can not guard Durant all game long. He would spend too much energy on defense. It's a tough job to guard the top scorer of the NBA. Also you need different looks to guard a scorer. However, Lebron should be on Durant if the game is close in the 4th quarter because he's their best option.

I actually think they did an OK job on Durant. Durant is a great shooter. You can not stop great shooters. What Miami needs to improve on is guarding Westbrook. He got to the hoop too easily in this game.

I would say I was surprised but OKC just did the same thing to the Spurs. This series will rest on whether or not the "Superfriends" can take their collective games to yet another level and force OKC to do likewise. Whomever cannot rise to this challenge will not win the championship. That, to me, was what set apart Jordan's Bulls, Bird's Celtics, Magic's Lakers and Hakeem's Rockets from wanna bees like the Heat.

The way the Heat use Bosh is just pathetic. It's like they think he's matt bonner or something judging by the role he has on this team.

Definitely agree that you can't put Lebron on Durant all game but he should be on him in the 4th like you said

I disagree on them doing an ok job on Durant. I thought they did terrible guarding him. He had a lot of wide open 3's on what looked like broken down communication on defense. They can't allow Durant to have any open looks.

They said they didn't have an answer for KG either... and they won that series.

I'm tired of these cliches of labeling players unstoppable, anyone can be stopped... the right adjustments just have to be made.

Oh yeah. Props to Fisher tonight. He kept the Thunder in it with his aggressive play early.

Your wrong. This series is just getting started. MIA didn't get here because everybody liked them, they got there because they are good. MIA will make adjustments for Game 2 and we will see if OKC can win again.

your opinions on basketball are slightly suspect. but you may be right.

i suppose i would say lebron is better then durant but sometimes im not really sure how much, meaning its very negligible.

now if durant was 28 and lebron 23 i wonder how this series would pan out.

They should have got adelman, Scott Brooks isn't a great coach either, but Durant bailed him out. Maybe get sloan so they they can a run a lebron bosh pnr or wade bosh pnr.

Yup it's terrible especially for how much he is getting paid. I guess those 3's against Boston has Spoelstra confident in his shooting ability. Bosh is a good mid range shooter but they need him to create for himself and get in the paint. The guy missed like 2 or 3 weeks, Spoe is treating him like he has been half the season. Horford missed a few months and was more involved when he came back in his 2nd game than Bosh in his 3rd game still

Agreed. For 16+ million of whatever it is... its time for him to step up and play like hes capable of playing.
