Poor LeBron. His teammates letting him down. For the brief moments he has been on Durant, he has done a great job of denying him the ball. His teammates can't stop anybody, and only Wade/LeBron have shown up offensively in the 4th.
Durant will be the Dirk of last year. Heat have no answer, he'll be unstoppable. The shots he takes and they drop, you gotta wonder if he'll miss. Similar to Dirk
and yeah, not having lebron on durant was kind of bad by spoelstra. like when he forgot to put him on carmelo at the end of game 4 like he didn't remember lebron was on his team. heat are going to need to not have rebounds bounce an extra time on the rim when they have 2 rebounders right there and it ends up as a thunder tip and not have saved balls go to the thunder more than them. maybe it's just the thunder's speed but it sure seemed like they didn't catch many breaks. you aren't beating okc with durant on fire without some breaks. if the thunder ever didn't spot their opponent a big lead every game they might get some easy blowouts and roll through games.
Sefolosha is the MVP so far. I know, I know. One game in. But Sefo was as important on offense as he was on defense.
OKC Just looks like the better overall team in this game. They're a better 2nd half team than a 1st which is where it counts the most. Role players have stepped up when needed, whether it's rebounding, playing defense, or making shots.
OKC is actually really similar to the Mavs except younger and stronger. Miami is still the same team as last year. OKC in 5.
yeah, unfortunately all the thunder have to do is set a pick and then lebron isn't guarding durant any more because the thunder have too many weapons to just trap 25 feet from the basket. and once durant is on somebody not named lebron there's no stopping him. the collison tip that set up the 3 and bosh's dropped pass in the lane when the heat were down 5 and that ended up getting the thunder a transition layup were really when the heat lost this game.
Ima go out on a limb and say this series is over. OKC is too young and too good and now they have confidence. Miami's only shot was to punch them in the mouth tonight and undercut their confidence.
