It's fine lol. I'm just saying that if you can comeback and beat such a disiplined team led by Pop, you can comeback vs. anyone.
This...almost makes you want to pull for the Heat. Sure Westbrook is passionate, but his on court personality is terrible. You can be passionate without being an ass.
As pathetic as they played in the 1st half, OKC is lucky to be down only 7. You can't judge an entire series by the 1st half of game 1, but Perkins better start showing he has the potential to have a positive impact or his playing time needs to wind down. Collison and (ugh) Fisher need Perk's time on the floor. Brooks was determined to play his normal rotation no matter what. Hopefully that is out of his system now and he adjusts. Surprisingly, Shane Battier is the difference so far. I was thinking this could be like game 6 against the Spurs, but not quite. If the jitters are all gone and they bring their game face in the 2nd half, Thunder should be fine. Makes me laugh that OKC is finally playing a team with someone they can put Fisher on and not worry: Shane. KD, Harden, LeBron and Wade could be poised for big 2nd halves.
I'll say it once and I'll say it again, OKC cannot win this series with Westbrook shooting 10 shots at 30% while Durant only gets 7 shots while shooting ~70% (small sample size but ehh)
I'm going to predict an OKC run followed by a LBJ explosion. MIA will lead by 10 going into the fourth.
Not really, but rotation and lineups has been awful. Why play with two bigs who are liability on offense, especially when Heat are trapping on pick&rolls. I would start the second half with Harden instead of Perkins.
They shot 56% from the field, having a higher field goal percentage than the Heat. That can hardly be called pathetic. Now, if you are referring to the defensive end, then I can agree with that. How the Thunder can leave shooters like Battier and Chalmers wide open is beyond me. But offensively, you can't really do much better than 56%.
Great game so far, lots of contributions from the various players on both teams. Battier, still one of my favorite players, is lighting it up. But how the HELL was that a double technical? Battier was walking out of bounds with the ball, and Westbrook just acted up like a macho idiot and blew up in his face. Is the ref blind?
I don't have problem with starting them, but I don't undertand why KD played only like 3 minutes on power forward. Heat doesn't have any low post presence and in regular season OKC averaged 113 points per 100 possesion when he played on 4 vs. 103 point when he played on 3. And defence didn't suffer.
