At first I thought it was a worthy attempt of sarcasm, then I took a look at something else and all I could do was shake my head.
0:02 seconds left. Game 7. The crowd is going silent. The Thunder are down by one, Durant has the ball in his hands. The legacy of so many great players are on the line here. Durant goes to release the shot but, there's something wrong. It's not being blocked, it's being annoyed. In the face of Kevin Durant is a big, somewhat caucasian hand that doesn't look like much, but is enough to make Durant clank the game winner off the side of the rim. The series is over, OKC is crushed. The Heat win. Lebron finally gets his ring. Battier is named Finals MVP. The curse of Juwan Howard is lifted, and Yao Ming's foot magically heals. Everybody ignores Mike Miller. In 2030, a young man plays the latest edition of 2K on his Wii4, he goes to the NBA's Greatest Mode and picks one of the most famous moments in his favorite player's career- the famous "Hand Seen 'Round the World".
Why would anyone not like Battier? Great guy and played hard for us. Whether or not you like how we acquired him shouldn't matter at all. I still hope Miami loses though.
Shane, and Durant, are shooting lights out from 3pt land. It's just unreal, and has made for a very fun NBA finals this year. Also, did I mention that Durant is sick? The guy seems immune to Shane's "hand in your eyes" defense. But anyway, big props to Battier. After having a subpar shooting season, he has turned it up big time in these finals. He's the "No-Stats All-Star" again who takes the charges and does the little things, only now he has stats because he can't seem to miss.
