Looking for advice to where i can take my white macbook. I was cleaning it with a damp napkin and i believe very minimal amount of water spilled inside. My dumbass didn't turn it off and remove the battery and let it dry out, now it won't turn on. I'm letting it set for a couple days but i have a feeling it's not looking good for me. Any advice on what to do or where to take it?? Thanks for serious replies

Microcenter is an authorized Apple service center.

Lol i been googling the last couple hours.. I'm thinking it short circuit. Good thing is it sounds like it can be fixed. My next challenge is to find a trusted shop to take it to. I called a place named upi communications that i found on Craigslist and they charge nothing to look at it. It's located on long point and wirt. Anyone familiar?? I'm thinking the mom and pop stores would be cheaper than apple or microcenter

I had a roommate in college that would repair computers on the side for extra cash. I recall him repairing several Mac Books. I remember one had to have its screen replaced. He's an honest guy, and may help you out. I'm just not sure if he's doing that anymore. He may have moved on to bigger and better things.
