This is the pick that we should be after. Does Sacramento not need an upgrade at the point? After all, Isaiah Thomas is no Kyle Lowry. Why chase after picks 6, 8 and 10 when we have a pretty good chance at #5, considering our relationship with Sacramento? We have the players and picks to entice them with. Might even be able to get the old Chuckwagon back.

I think coach wants Lilliard. I would be scared of Drummond (high bust potential). I would pray for Beal to drop.

    I'm thinking Lillard or Beal.

The player chosen at #5 has to be the scorer.

I'd love to have Beal, but I don't think that he will fall to 5... If we acquire the 5, i think there's a high chance we go with Drummond there.

Lowry to get Drummond, and trade the other two picks to get PJIII.

Two high upside bigs to build around.

If they bust, they bust, atleast we can rebuild.

Drummond and Perry, Drummond and Meyers, Perry and Meyers, any combination works for me, all have length, athleticism, height, and a high ceiling.

I would imagine it would take Lowry plus picks 14 and 16 to get pick 5, or Lowry plus Patterson and pick 16. Not sure if PG is high on Sacramento's wish list, given that they have Thomas as a serviceable PG and just drafted Jimmer rather high last year to be the PG of the future.

Unless their st on drafting at the position (although I don't know who will be available there for them that fits what they want and their positional needs)

IMO, there are 4 levels in the first round. Davis being tier 1, Beal, Barnes, Drummond, Kidd, and Robinson being tier 2, then around 10-15 more guys being tier 3, then the rest.

I think the 5th pick is a good spot. After all, Beal, Barnes, Drummond, Kidd, or Robinson will remain. After Davis, I think the next 5 or so guys are a toss up (of course, everyone has their favorties).

Trading Lowry for the 5th pick to take Drummond would be a massive mistake. I would only do that for Beal, MKG, or maybe Barnes. Please.... PLEASE NOT DRUMMOND!

Drummond reminds me of Andrew Bynum. With Mchale, Olajuwon, and Camby, as mentors, he has a better chance at success than in a place like Sacramento. If they get 5 I think they take a chance on Drummond.

Lowry is poison and must go. (I read it on the Internet so it must be true.)

Thus anybody the Rox pick at should be better than poison.

I actually think the Rockets should let the daft play out. Why give up Lowry for Beal at 5 when Jeremy Lamb may be easier to grab at the 8th pick. The other reason why I would like to wait is because of Austin Rivers he may be available at 14 and Meyers Leonard or John Henson may drop to 16, both are players we could use. I would let this draft play out if it involves anything other than getting Dwight Howard or maybe Rudy Gay, but hopefully not for Pau Gasol.

No more role players especially if we can get star potential at 5
