I had a long day at work today so I decided to go see Prometheus and see what all the hype was about. I went to the theater right next to my office and I am waiting in line to get some refreshments when I look to my right to the line next to me and I had to do a double take. I wasnt sure at first but then yes, yes it was Spoiler I told him I was the biggest Rockets fan out in LA, showed him my Rockets keychain and he laughed and said, Rockets I HATE THE ROCKETS and laughed and then said man they aren't like when I was on there. I asked him what he was up to for his summer now that he doesnt have a job anymore for TNT (ABC/ESPN has the finals) and he said relaxing though they have him doing something tomorrow so he was heading back out (I assume he meant to Atlanta) He said it was nice to see a Rockets fan, I didnt want to keep asking questions as he was with a bunch of kids and was about to order. I asked him what movie he was watching he said Men in Black and I asked if he bought the 3D show and he said yeah and I told him the 3D was pretty bad ass in the one. He replied 'Oh nice sometimes the 3d looks wack' He said nice meeting you and left for his movie (he was already running late as the movie started at 715 and this happened around 730) it made my night
Lol, feel you on that Kenny. Rockets under Morey are a joke, and any self respecting Rockets fan would have left them long ago for OKC rather than put up with the continual abuse aimed at taking off the bandage as slow as possible. Champions rip it off.
Sounds like he's a nice guy if you managed to have that kind of coherent conversation. Shame he ragged on the Rockets a little, but I think we can all agree it's totally true.
Nice, i'm sure he was joking about hating the rockets....he looks like he could still play back up right now..
